The love Dean has for Nala is never more evident than in this video!! Her very own fortress, created and built with love! Complete with hearts all over! This is so priceless. Nala's little face peeking through the heart window, I just about melted. Dean, you are a very special man. You are both so lucky to have each other. And that Nala is one very special cat. ❤️🐱🚴🏼

She reminds me of my little grey Tabby rescue that we got when she was only 6 - 8 weeks. She went out nearly two weeks back and just never returned. She was only a year and a half old. Such a timid little cat that we just adored. Have searched, put leaflets through doors and posted on all the social media sites we can think of but nothing. To say we are devastated is an understatement. Every time I see Nala in one of these videos, it brings a tear to my eye.

So very sorry for your loss. My cats all live indoors because I couldn't bear to find one of them killed on the road. I had to do a lot of driving on my job and it was so sad to see the ones that weren't able to get out of the way of cars. Take care. I'm hoping that you can find another furbaby to love some time soon.

@@AnnDroid877 I did the same & when I started babysitting I used to make the tent as well. I'm still friends with the family I used to babysit for. The girl is now 13,she still talks about the dinner us 2 would have inside the tent.

Most Scotsman are grizzly bear on outside with marshmallow centres only seen by those they love, my 6" 6 man turned to marshmallow first time he saw some kittens his friends cat had and was devastated to learn all had been homed, 12 weeks later his friend told him two homes had fallen through. He arrived to collect me from my work complete with cat carrier at home out walk two ginger Tom kittens. 15 years old next month we only have one now lost his brother to heart problems but my big softie goes to sleep with him either sleeping on his pillow or beside him being cat cuddled every night. Got to love a man who openly loves his cat

My mom made a set of kitchen appliances out of boxes for out little playhouse - which was also recycled (my Dad found it). Just the best parents. Very creative both of them. You brought back lots of memories - thank you!

Dean, we were that family in our neighborhood that didn't get all the newest toys, either. But like you, we made our own fun. I used to make barbie doll houses out of boxes, etc. Our neighbor across the street had the fancy Barbie Dream House, which we played with one time, but you know what? Ours was more fun, and we had so much more fun making it. The benefits to our brains, our creativity, our values, that you don't need a lot of 'stuff' to have fun, were immeasurable. What's really fun now is, I use my cardboard box house-making skills with my Renewable Energy students every year, because we build energy efficient house models out of whatever scraps I bring in. You should see what the kids can do! I loved seeing how your creativity worked out, and OF COURSE you made a castle....Scotland's full of them!

Thanks for making my day, you two. My lips pull up at the corners and stay there throughout your videos. It is so heart-warming to see any animal receive so much loving care. Nala is one special cat, and you are one special human being. Your mom did you a favor with the boxes. All the other kids did Not get all the best toys.🙏❤️
