They used alot of modified freighters and old warships and fighters. Also they would have space Yachts modified with weapons hidden behind false panels and hull sections for their own use. Some families would buyer newer warships but the Republic,the Empire and later New Republic all kept them from buying newer stuff if possible,but most hutts didn't want to spend the money on top notch equipment and ships because mercs and smugglers and down on their luck spacers were cheap. So the cheapest ships, weapons,cheapest everything was the name of the game. But that is in the real Canon EU and Legends. Idk about Disney.

They also liked using seemingly nondescript ships and installing decent firepower hidden until needed.

Nal Hutta did survive the Yuuzhan Vong. And it was all but normal (for the Hutts) by the Second Galactic Civil War. It was recovering very fast, is what I’m ultimately saying.

@@evanjohnson1299. Exactly, as you quoted here. They literally said this in the “Real” Star Wars storyline. And also don’t forget that the Hutts were already back on Nal Hutta during the Second Galactic Civil War! PS (For the record, Expanded Universe Star Wars is the real Star Wars. And Disney Star Wars is the second rate fake Star Wars) that’s the way I see it. And no one can deny that Disney has totally screwed up Star Wars hardcore. (With the only exception being Rogue One) and who knows how that one got threw!

I’ve noticed some hutts like vrankie the blue or the twins have three fingers instead of 4 like the other hutts why is that? Also is a majority of this breakdown canon or a mix of both canon and legends material? But all and all thank you for always doing this amazing work and may the force be with you 😊

This is a mix but honestly most of the good stuff is in Legends and EU. Start reading the SW books if you havent read any of them or a bunch of them are free on KZread to listen to as audio books.

@@starlight0313 they have more power than you think. They never diminished. Jabbas little empire diminished, but not the hutts overall empire. They're still going strong as ever. The only reason why the twins let Boba have Jabbas place is because they know how deadly he is and they don't want an all out war with him qnd because the Pikes are taking over. They don't want to fight qt two fronts. They're just smart enough to not want a war with both the pikes and a former bounty hunter who knows way more about killing than they do. Hutts aren't fighters. At least not anymore, but they still have all of their power left. They're just smart to let Boba be in control, cause when he dies and the pikes are dead or gone, they can take over again and rule with their ways again

I haven't heard that Gardulla or the other council nembers being dead. Only Jabba and that other hutt Savage and Maul killed. Otherwise, they're not dead and they aren't that weak. When the First Order came around, they most likely gained back huge amounts of power

I find it hard to beleive that some slugs could run a criminal empire. I know criminals, and they would dispatch those critters and take it over. What makes the Hutt's so powerful? They're so easy to kill.

Star Wars justice that the Hutts world would be reduced to null the Evoki spirit of vengeance.

So I'm thinking Narl was a swamp world and the Hutt evolved as giant slugs who need a wet environment to survive without technology.

Hear me out. If some gaming company would make a Star Wars open world some what like gta 5 because your free to do whatever you want but also mix it with no mans sky so you can fly into other planets and stuff. How cool would that be man I’d love a game like that where you got to choose certain characters and interact with people in trade like with runscape

There are uninhabited planets that are commonly used for mining. Take the gas giant with a rocky core, Peragus 1, for example.

It would be nice have characters go to a few planets were they can't just casually waltz around without protection like having to wear pressurized suits or having to use breathing apparatuses. Actually it would also be neat to have more space walks or walking on like moons with no atmosphere where characters have to wear well...space suits and awkwardly maneuvering around zero gravity or extreme blow gravity environments for prolonged periods of time. (like almost whole episodes worth!) I now Star Wars isn't the most realistic setting and is more like a classic fairytale meets a space opera paintjob but really it feels like a waste of the setting to not take advantage of the extreme dangers and challenges found on either inhospitable planets (atleast to the main characters) and of airless space itself! I think utilizing that stuff more would present interesting concepts to explore and add new narrative stakes for characters.

In Legends, they were hermaphroditic and were only seen as female when pregnant. In Canon, they have both male and female individuals and reproduce in somw way sexually. In theory, they mate back to back if their genitals are in their tails although it seems that the one from the stronger family gets the child. Take the last part with a grain of salt, since our only sample size is Rotta and Jabba

Its weird that the hutts are titillated by dancers when they probably don't have anything close to mammalian sexuality.

If a day is 87 hours on Nal Hutta and this planet has 315 of these days, you’re talking about a year that is approximately 1,142 earth days long. (About 3.13 earth years) Yeesh, no wonder Hutts have to live so long.

I can’t be the only one out there who feels like the Uzongvong feel too foreign/out of place in the Star Wars galaxy? I have always looked at their addition as some sort of goofy fan-fiction. Take a deep breath before y’all grab the pitchforks, hear me out. Peep their looks - gear & technology. The Vong’s average outer rim backwater soldier is something like 8 foot tall with incredible strength + fighting skill. They seem 2 have a lot of combat experience for species that’s hid-out on the otherside of da galaxy all those Millennia we’ve also seen that they run biomechanical “living” ships where even the single-seated attack craft come equipped with self-healing shields & cloaking tech. It just feels like like too much had been cut out from then transplanted from a different sci-fi series? IDK, it’s like just my opinion man. tl;dr Vongs are hot garbage water.
