Naked and Not Ashamed | Drew Worsham

Ойын-сауық

Shame is the source of many complex and disturbing inner states: depression, alienation, self-doubt, isolating loneliness, social anxiety, insecurity, and the list can go on and on. So how do we walk in the freedom that Christ paid for on the cross when we experience shame? In this message, Drew Worsham, founding pastor of the Rim Church, walks through Genesis 2:25-3:13, and how shame and our wounds do not have the final word.

My boyfriend added that it's foreshadowing that the blood of christ will cover us. That sin, the root cause of their shame being that they did not listen to God, was covered by death or would be covered by death by the blood of Jesus but in the meantime it foreshadows the sacrifice they would do to attorneys for their sins. There would be a deep desire to attone for sin with the death of an innocent life. In this case it was an animal and later in the gospel it was Jesus who attoned for our sin on the cross with his innocent blood.
