I just love Naka-sensei. He's an incredible technician, a great teacher, and he even looks like a nice guy to be around. Fantastic!

He actually is a very nice guy to be around. And he attracts nice people too. You should try visiting his dojo in Tokyo to enjoy good training and perhaps some after training socialising (if you're lucky). You don't have to be a JKA member either.

Naka Sensei has the knack of simplifying things to a common sense level. Which is of course the prerequisite to be a good teacher.

Bill Blinky I was thinking the exact same thing. When he slows the technique down, splitting each movement up to show the transition from heel to hip to hand etc it is excellent to see his timing and what comes when and where.

Modern day great teachers are going for yama zuki with head straight... it hits good on wall .... but application wise it is slight different I suppose
