The only capital city in the world with a national park within it's city. (the Nairobi national park)More to Nairobi Central business district, Nairobi also has the upper hill business district, westlands business district, Kilimani business district. Big shopping malls like the BBS shopping mall in Easleigh, ( the biggest shopping mall in East and Central Africa), two rivers mall, garden city mall, village market, Yaya center, West gate mall, to name but just a few. The night life is also crazy in Nairobi, all you need is money money. Nairobi is so addictive, people visit and come back again and again. There is a certain white man who said that he had travelled the whole world but found Kenya to be the best in the world. Of which he had visited Kenya for six hundred times (600 times)

African Tigress, Thanks so much for this video. I lived in Nairobi 50 years ago and loved the city. I have seen photographs from the air of how it has grown but have not seen anything at the ground level. I recognized some of the old buildings but the change is astounding. It seems to be still pretty nicely landscaped as it was 50 years ago. I live near Philadelphia in America and from the video I have to say that Nairobi seems to have much less trash along its streets than we do here. Actually, I saw almost none. Ending on the Thika Road! I remember that as being just a 2 lane dusty road. Thanks again for a wonderful video. Kwaheri. Asante sana.

Nairobi has always been a beautiful city in East Africa & has many international Western organisations. I like that they have cleaned it up & that it has a lot of good infrastructure. However, I like the 1980s Nairobi more in terms of city cleanness. Good city with a brighter future & good video.

This what we called a city. Very beautiful, and clean. I'm from Nigeria but truth be told Nairobi is a Dubai to Nigeria, Lagos is generally a glorified village literary dispatch fullfil with rural areas slum dwellers Keke beggars, i have lived in Lagos since 2018 and I will honestly tell you that most of their major roads is fill with red mud sand, I'm ashamed of my country Nigeria. Giant of poverty 😭😭😭😭😭😭 17:55

Nairobi is a very nice clean beautiful city with smooth roads, no gutters, no motor bike taxis, no old unroadworthy old vehicles on the road, no pots holes etc unlike Lagos Nigeria which suffers from all the above mentioned and l am Nigerian by the way, but the truth needs to be told!!!! Lagos was once a very beautiful city back in the 70s/80s, but successive corrupt politicians /governments of Nigeria have failed to fix issues faced today in Nigeria. People say Nigeria is the giant of Africa, but in my opinion, that's not true. The only thing I agree with is that Nigeria is one of the most populated African countriy. I live in the London and watching the video on Nairobi makes me feel that it is London, with very many similarities ie the smooth roads, overhead bridges, many new looking cars on the road all in the city of Nairobi. By the special Grace of God, l hope to visit Nairobi some day.

I am looking forward to my visit in 2 months time. You mentioned that this part of CBD is known as up-town. In Canadian Provinces, the CBD is known as down-town. Which makes me want to research on the meaning of these terminologies. Many people are just learning how Kenyans can create a green city in the jungle. Literally and metaphorically. Wakanda is mythical though... You need to be a resident to learn what Kenya 🇰🇪 is. Kenya hits you differently, even spiritually. You experience goosebumps in Kenya, Coast to Western, Northern everywhere you get amazed. The deeper you go to the interior and sample the Counties, the more you get hypnotised. 🇰🇪 Is an experience. Nairobi is the gateway but you don't get to experience Kenya yet. By the time you open your eyes the VISA is expiring. But you now have a genuine reason to come back. Kenyans are very welcoming, very industrious, loving, honest, genuine, intelligent (the average Kenyan is politically aware, constitutionally conscious, respectfully restrained). But don't get me wrong. Mess with their flag 🇰🇪 or psych, you'll be depressed quicker than a flash. Strike a conversation and you have intellectual intercouse. That's just a bit of the land called Kenya. Come see for yourself. Karibuni sana 😘 😘.

Just like everywhere else in the world, there will always be one or two evil doers. We just have to have wisdom when we are conducting ourselves around. The law is there to fight crimes but we also use our minds to be careful and watchful; taking care of ourselves and belongings. No matter where we go around the world. Otherwise as a Kenyan myself, I can surely tell you we are more welcoming or rather hospitable to visitors. The positive testimonials outweighs the little misunderstandings here and there. Hopefully we'll fight the petty crimes completely. Otherwise, this shouldn't put fear in you. As much as the excitement is there to see Kenya, also be careful while doing so. You're Welcome to Kenya, Nairobi. God bless.
