The expressway not named Haile Selassie. That particular exit where vehicles going to town will use is around the Haile Selassie Avenue. The Haile Selassie Avenue is a road/street in the Nairobi CBD which has been there for many many years.

Madam, it is not the rainy season, in fact January and February are the hottest and driest months. What we are experiencing are El Nino rains which started in October last year. All the same, thanks for the update on the new Haile Selassie interchange. It was a big oversight on the part of the government not to have an exit that leads you to the city centre.

Always on top of things showing us what we need to know. Now we understand for those of use who had no idea how Expressway was going to join CBD. Some other vlogger claimed this will be the end of Uhuru park as the exit will encroach on the park but thats not the truth. Thanks for the clarity.

You leave Nairobi 6 months and when you come back you another Nairobi very different. This city is developing with a high tech speed.

This is great. Now I know how to maneuver to get at the Haile Selassie Rd. Consider mentioning what road one is joining and at what point the acceleration lane ends on Uhuru Highway. Is it at the Haile Selassie interchange or the Nyayo Stadium Roundabout? Does the other exit lead to Upper Hill beyond the Railway Club?

Its great next time you should take a look at A 104 From Nairobi - Nakuru the three hours Drive ....And see the kinaya of Murkomen he is urging kenyans to drive safely while he cant Put street lights towards the Highway nor Broadened the narrow road...These Road has Reduced Traffic jam but on the other hand The highway which he is bragging about is increasing traffic accidents... You should do one video for Murkomen to seee ....At these is Wonderful project

Just Imagine if they had awarded this contractor the tender to do the lower road of the expressway, this is the super quality we could now be enjoying. Murkomen fumbled big time.

@@alexkibe4179 My friend, quality always comes at a price. While the company currently working on the road is cutting costs on road construction, take a look at the subpar work they're producing. I would prefer hiring a contractor who charges more but ensures high-quality roads rather than settling for someone with lower costs but delivering substandard results.

I'm at a loss. My understanding Hailey Salasi stretches Race Course Road to Mombasa Road/Uhuru Highway yonder to Kenyatta Hospital area. How come it goes to National Park today?Anyway this is my insight in the 60's ...

She did not say it stretches from national park area. Wewe ndiyo hushiki, Haille Sellasie Ave stretches from Race course Rd round about to junction of Ngong Rd next to Nairobi club

The exit from the Expressway is at the Haile Selassie/Uhuru Highway Roundabout and exits through Uhuru Park and not National Park. A diversion comes immediately after the exit toll station leading to Uhuru Highway on the right and Haile Selassie Avenue on the left.

You're right. The national park comment was made on another road - Southern Bypass - that flanks the City.That was more than 15km away from the City Centre/Haile Sellassie.
