-To remove the nail polish from your stamper, you could use scotch tape or a lint roller. -And when applying the nail polish to the stamping plate, you dont have to cover the whole picture, only half of it then scrape. the excess polish will cover the rest of the image.

you can also get stamping plates from Wish app for really cheap 😉 try just running a bead at one end of the design, use the scrapper to disperse the polish and stamp away 😉

Thank you sooo much!! This tutorial was so helpful!! I had recently bought this same kit, but was having trouble picking up the design. I think I was scraping too hard and wasnt doing the rolling motion. Now that I learned to roll the stamper and scrape lightly I've been able to pick my designs up!! Nail stamper frustration gone! everyone has to find their own way to stamp I'm sure but just a couple things I've found myself: to save on polish it should work just as well if you only cover one third of the image and then scrape across. as a rule I never use polish remover on my stamping heads. Its much easier to get a lint roller to do the job 😉 you did much better than I did my first time stamping lol

I had to get b.m.c. no smudge top coat. That stopped the smearing. I discovered SH Insta-Dry Clearly Quick also works if you float the brush. I use a lint remover to clean my stamper. I love this kit so much!

I bought this same kit at Walmart last week and it's been sitting here waiting for me to use it but I've been so nervous. I just happened to see your video and I am so excited. You did a great job for your first time, practice makes perfect. You've given me the incentive to try out mine now. I did go on Utube to watch some tutorials but seeing you doing it with the same kit was so inspiring. One thing that I did see on Utube was that they would only spread the polish across the top of the image and swipe down. Whatever works for you is what I say !! So enjoyed your video and can't wait to see the follow up !!

I just bought this stamper. When I tell you that I used that exact same silver polish from Dollar Tree and it worked better than the polish it came with! I couldn't get them to come out right but I'm sure there's a learning curve.

Omg thank you for this. I have 3 stamping plates in my shopping cart on Etsy for about $5 a piece. But I have never ever done this myself (or any nail art aside from half assed glitter gradients and anything on that same level of difficulty lol) so, I had no idea how to do the step by step, or whatever else is needed to do this look. So I googled and I’m so glad I found your video! Thank you, thank you! Oh And I also found my perfect silver metallic nail polish at the $ store (dollar general), can’t underestimate the dollar stores lol. Anyway your nails look amazing!!

I always use a lint roller to take off the excess on my Stamper works great!

I just got a couple stamping kits this week on Amazon. My first tests were comical! Lol I do gel polish with mine tho...a little more slippery feeling than a few tests I did with regular nail polish. You did fabulous...especially for your first try!

I'm fixing to teach myself stamping, so watching some videos to learn until the products arrive ...I'm sooo excited, I must keep distracted lol! I just fell in love with you! What stamp polish would you recommend ?

what is that tool you used to remove the extra nail polish that came off easy as pie

I got this kit too & I attempted to do the stamping.. failed every single time haha. I literally don't get what I'm doing wrong, 'cause I followed every tip they say & even searched videos to see what I could be doing wrong. So frustrating! Glad that this kit works for you though, the designs do look cute on your nails!

AestheticStar I had the same issue but you literally just have to BARELY roll your stamper over the image. Like no pressure at all when you do it.

Use a lint roller for the stamper. Works better. Also a clothes pen to hold your acetone soaked cotton pad will save your manicure. It won't get into contact with your nails.

Great tutorial...I found the stamper on Amazon for around $5...I am thinking of ordering it for my bday lol 😊

A bigger clear jelly stamp will help cover your whole nail! Use just a bit of pressure when scraping....that will help pooling on the stamper and with smudging on the nail!

I didn't even know stamping polish was a thing and I got a bunch of stamp plates for christmas, but none of them came with instructions or a scraper 😥 I'm finally searching youtube for tips and tricks to try not to be forced to spend more money and use my cheap supplies for it, but the designs just smear on my nails. I also got gel polish and the curing light, but the polish never completely cures!

Do the stamp have to have a special nails polish to use.

Hey I bought the same kit and it worked first try. I did exactly like you did. But when I put the clear top coat it smeared I really waited til it was dry. I even test it with my finger and it was dry. But again the top oat smeared it

Try to float your top coat. If thay does not work try a different stamping polish. Try experimenting with different sets of stamping polish, and top coats. You do not have to use stamping polish either. ☺

Seche Vite top coat at Sally's is the best for stamping.

My nailpolish is not getting quickly off the plate what to do?

Use a lint roller that you use on clothing to get dust off on the stamper, that will remove it , and keep the life of your stamper for longer, and u only need to apply polish half way the scrape and you get less waste as it will scrape it all the way across , if u get what I mean, and wipe your plate with acetone b4 and after stamping just to cleanse it and get any dust that may be in the plate from sitting around!! But good job X

So I have never done stamping and I got this set from maniology and I think the nail polish dries too much I can’t get the transfer correct

You can color in the picture and create a decal, let dry then place on nail 😀

You can even use those little apple barrel acrylic lots of colors. And you can get plates n stampers for under a buck on eBay.

Oh i ordered a bunch on ebay for like 11 or 12 cents the stamper i got for 1$ and the polishes i spent the most on which was like 2 or 3$ in case u dont have a whole lot to spend but wanna try it. It takes time to get used to and u cant use just any kind of polish.... It dries to fast if u do.

Try rolling the stamper or really squash it in and rock it around a bit xxx good luck everybody

I really wouldn't use nail polish remover or acetone on the stamper head to clean it, even though technically it's kind of logical to do so. It wrecks the material quite quickly. I find a lint roller removes the polish without any issues.

Thank you, I was ready to throw this in the trash. I realized I was scraping to much after watching. I have my polish from the dollar tree and I used the top coat from them and it smudged everything up except for two nails that look perfect. Frustrating, but guess it takes practice.
