I hate it but I understand it. It’s survival mode… the mode literally rewards you 35 points periodically if you survive longer than other players 😂. People steal kills because 70 points is better than 40. People randomly hit anyone with an ult because 100 points is better than everything. Yea it makes sense to kill first place but as far as Ik, placement doesn’t give extra points. Everyone is really just racing to 700 their own way. Very annoying but as long as the point system stays like this, 🤷🏽 it’ll happen

Thing is dodging or as a ranged/heal to keep distance is totally logical. Or retreat for a moment if you are low HP or to many peoole go after you. But theese people literary run the entire game and run builds geared to maximize runtime. It makes things questionable as they literary miss the point of a fighting game.
