Very excited to present Sri M to our TRS audience He is someone who has deeply impacted my family’s spiritual path, extremely honored to host him in our space today. Conversation with someone who is on the path of advanced meditation is truly very special. Sri M is an Indian Yogi, spiritual guide, social reformer, and educationist. He is the disciple of Sri Maheshwarnath Babaji, who was a disciple of Mahavatar Babaji. Sri M, also known as Sri Madhukarnath Ji. He received the Padma Bhushan, in 2020.
As spoken about in the show before, I had been initiated into the Yogananda Satsanga Society (or YSS) Self-realization program.
Episode Link: • My HONEST Spiritual Jo...
From being someone who used to consume a lot of alcohol till the age of 22, to now experiencing a path to chase enlightenment has been enriching. Being inspired by the book "Autobiography of a Yogi", I decided to begin my spiritual journey with the help of YSS and Kriya Yoga. In this episode, our guest Sri M is someone who has been a practitioner of the same.
Please feel free to drop your thoughts about the podcast on any of our socials, what other topics would you like for us to cover, guest suggestions, and anything you would want us to improve on. My team and I are always looking for your feedback. Thank you for all the support.

Indeed! I have a Naga tattoo because I love them and their history and meaning. Whenever a Hindu or Buddhist person mentions “oh a snake” and points at my tattoo, they look more confused and clueless when I tell them it’s a naga. They do not know one of the most powerful symbol in their own kingdom !

Sri M, the religous motifs of nagas are really a depiction of kundalini. Yes, these nagas still exist in the subtle realms and can be felt, percieved in deep meditation/samadhi when one successfully accesses these realms. They are felt in 'sukshma sharir', travelling through the spine and covering with their hood, the head of an enlightened being. That is why all Gods and enlightened beings are depicted with the hooded nagas above them . Its the symbolism of a raised Kundalini.

I hope so too. Vedic science has the most intricate and well studied knowledge about consciousness. Mainstream science is only just now stepping into that area. They theorise that our current model of the universe will have to change because consciousness doesn't fit into it even though consciousness is a fact. Vedic science will hopefully be where they turn to.

When I visited my dad’s village in childhood my grandparents will tell me this history which I always thought they made up. They will tell us one of the our ancestor women had a miscarriage and to cope she was raising a baby cobra. She had given it a name and everyone in the village knew him. It will accompany its family to other villages or festive fairs etc. It was revered and worshipped on naag panchami. A few years later it was killed by a greedy traveler for its gold nose ring when the cobra was returning from the farms with the oxes (he was sort of an usherer for the oxen). The village then built a temple in its memory and Naag became our deity. Once during my childhood I witnessed a phenomenon when all the nearby fields were filled with snakes, no one killed them and they disappeared a night later by themselves. No one was harmed. The folks there told me it happened every 10-12 years and a normal occurrence for them.

Now THAT makes A LOT of sense. Especially when looked at the biblical story of "the serpent wanting the woman to feed Ad´M from the tree of KNOWLEDGE", who was later called "Lucifer", the bearer of light. So a snake race taught the early humans. That ties in PERFECTLY with the Annunaki Theory. In abrahamitic traditions - where knowledge is being hidden to keep up the power differential to keep the priest cast in power, the "Serpent" was villified as a "temptor of the human race" and used a s picture for pure evil. What an INSIDIOUS way to keep humanity from evolving into higher wisdom ...
