Nag Ashwin: Part two of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will be bigger with Kamal Haasan, In an exclusive interview, director Nag Ashwin holds forth on his blockbuster film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, He Reveals part 2 of the film which is the continuation of part 1 and Kamal Hassan are the lead of it and the cast will be the same, he also added about the Budget of the Film, The film is unstoppable in India as well as globally, it is 9th Day and the film has already crossed 800 Crore
About The Director
Nag Ashwin Reddy is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. He is the recipient of a National Film Award, a Nandi Award, and a Filmfare Award.
After working as an assistant director to Sekhar Kammula, he made his directorial debut in 2015 with the coming-of-age film Yevade Subramanyam, which won him the Nandi Award for Best Debut Director. In 2018, Ashwin directed Mahanati, a biopic of actress Savitri. It emerged as the highest-grossing female-led South Indian film and won him the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and the Filmfare Award for Best Director - Telugu. He expanded to big-budget cinema with the science fiction film Kalki 2898 AD (2024).
About the Movie
Kalki 2898 AD is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language epic science fiction film[8] directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. Inspired by Hindu scriptures, it is the first installment in a planned Kalki Cinematic Universe. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, the film follows a select group on a mission to save Kalki, the unborn child of SUM-80, a lab subject.

You cannot mislead Mahabharata especially when you are making it for International audience. The starting scene where it is shown that an arrow about to hit Karna on his back is a misleading scene and overhype of a selfish character like Karna through the mouth of Shri Krishna is another blood boiling mislead scene😡 Nag Ashwin still in the hangover of "Daana veera shura karna" movie I think. This has to be changed. It took many efforts from our religious preachers to portray actual Mahabharata but people like Nag comes and destroy their efforts in a single shot. People just remember films and believe that is true especially kids will have huge impact in their brains. Very disappointing from Nag Ashwin. Sorry guys don't believe in this director's theory please its not true. Karna is a negative character actually but here he shown him as a Hero.

That is what we call Liberty man & nag literally said it's karnas redemption here because he stood with Adharma in Mahabharat just because of friendship. And in the Mahabharat book's also Krishna will explain/elevate not only Karna others also you didn't watch his interviews & a live interaction happened with media he answered all of them he accepted it & took some liberty since cinema itself is a creative field. @@raghavrr503
