I have noticed when she sings duets with the men many times the men run out of breath first.

I watched this lady tonight live at the Met singing the role of Violetta, it was a fantastic stage production from a stunning cast, especially the baritone and tenor, but this lady stole the show! Absolutely amazing, and with such apparent ease, the drama from her voice and acting was on another level.

I just discovered her too by the same means. I am still under the spell. A thing of such beauty, youth, talent and ease of performance gives hope to humanity in this sorely troubled time. BRAVO Nadine Sierra.

Beautiful voice along with great breath control and phrasing. Her voice has more color now that she’s 33! Brava..! 👏🏼👏🏼

She is simply perfection in this role. I hope to hear her sing this at the Met.

We opera goers want to live through certain moments of pure bliss and when the melody gets expansive on this aria, it's one of these moments. Puccini is very rewarding in every sense of the word for singers who can nail it like you did here. Those who say we can't have talent and beauty in one package know nothing about the experience of attending masterpieces like la Bohème. I'm full of hope and I foresee a great career for you Nadine.

I absolutely love this girl. The voice is brilliant and she soooo beautiful! Total total package

This is amazing, her voice is soo sublime.

Mimi is one of the most outstanding roles ever written for a lirico-spinto soprano, and Nadine Sierra sings it magnificently.

@@mugrad25 MORE POWERFUL THAN COTRUBAS?!!?!😂 let me tell you something, Coutrubas was far more lyric, she used chest notes in the lower register and was entirely connected, it is far more powerful sound than this weak nasal head voice in the lower register that this Sierra has. It's a different technique and approach to the singing, Coutrubas is old school, I have heard both singers live and I speak from the experience...

I love your interpretation. Lovely.

Pucini's phrasing is tricky she nailed it!

Mimis of the world, I’m putting y’all on notice. This young lyric maybe a bit underweight (in my opinion) for this role. However, if this excerpt is any indication, Nadine Sierra is coming for your checks. Great idiomatic text painting, great interpretation, wonderfully long phrasing, and overall style. Brava!

Beh, negli anni trenta Rodolfo era interpretato (magistralmente), da Beniamino Gigli, che non mi pare fosse uno con il fisico da palestrato, anzi...😅

Questo maori quando le si avvicina sembra che se la voglia mangiare....come facevano i suoi antenati! Battute a parte Pene Pati è un ottimo tenore, nella romanza di Gounod "Salut demeure" smorza pefettamente il Do acuto.

Sicuramente un po esile per Puccini ma meglio qua' che in Lucia o Violetta.
