I always hate the argument of what are they going to do when they grow up and a job says be there at 8:30, do this at this time, clock out at this time. Homeschool kids are not learning to be the clock in clock out assembly line workers. They are learning to be the bosses, the CEO's, the entrepreneurs, the freelancers, etc.

And also public school kids go for 12-13 years with an 8am-3pm schedule, or a variation of it. And then alot grow up and work weekend jobs, or overnight jobs, or 3 12 hour nursing shifts, etc. And they do fine. An adult doesn't need 13 years of the same childhood schedule to be a functioning adult.

Just goes to prove that the system is basically child care, prepping kids for work later on life. No thank you. No one has say over the parents.

Ive had to home educate my autistic child has complex disabilities who has a idp and the local authority have failed my childs additional learning needs massively and they won't put her in a special needs school i had no choice to homd school her as the the school my daughter was in the teacher told me on the phone she didn't understand my childs conditions

In school education IS one size fits all but not every child fits that mould. I am a classic example of that. I have a very rare disorder and I attended catholic school, and learnt nothing of value.

The way the others are so biased is crazy almost feels like she's being attacked. In which 'real life' environment are you surrounded by people all your age? School is actually the opposite of a real world situation.
