I was born in 1973, also a fun coincidence. But, I remember her as a little girl, as my idol. I was so impressed with her moves and accomplishments - she made me feel like ANYTHING was possible, even as a little girl. And long before I even knew anything about politics and countries - I felt she was one of us. Even though I lived in the USA. It just didn't matter to me!

Olympic giving us the content we’ve desired for 44 years! 🥳

I remember that time, watching Nadia on TV, I believe now all country was watching gymnastic back then in Romania. Nadia was our big proud as Romanians in those times where we had just very few things to enjoy, and we jumped in front of the TV shouting our happiness. Nadia is an icon, a legend, a big page of Romanians history.

When gymnastics was real. She will always be the best.

She looks and sounds amazing . . . So talented!

Nadia will always be the perfect 10. She was so graceful back then and confident. Beautiful gymnast in every way. Love you Nadia

Love Nadia. I was one of those little girls in '76 that watched her on the TV get all those perfect 10's and after that you couldn't get me off the bars.

I remember watching this live and it was a great moment in history. Nadia Comaneci getting that perfect 10. 🥇

Fearless grace and poise! Nadia and Bart were made for each other. He has never been threatened by her greatness. She found someone that didn't expect something from her. True love DOES exist. ❤❤❤🤸‍♂️🤸‍♀️

I am impressed with her lovely personality , intelligence , philosophical streak and CHARM. I'm even more of a fan of mature and wonderful Nadia.

I will never forget the 1976 Olympics with Nadia's Perfect 10 scores. I still love and enjoy watching her gymnastic routines. Nadia and I are the same age and she has made such a positive impact on me as well as others. I'm so happy to see how both Nadia and Bart both compliment each other as husband and wife, and in helping others. I enjoyed watch Bart compete as well. He love his personality and smile that is genuine, not arrogant. Beautiful couple together and family! I am privileged to enjoy this interview story and greatest moments. Thank you both! 🤗❤

Nadia was one of my early Olympic viewings at the age of 12. In watching gymnastics, our household prepared all day to be at the tv for every moment. Nadia was so fluid as if the air held less gravity when she moved through it, her strength was as strong as was needed; practical for the task of skill -this allowed for her body to flow in a softness like she was hopping on clouds. She embraced her moves and didn’t rush them. A sheer joy and mesmerizing to to watch.

I didn’t know she had books. I will get them for sure. Alas, today, this interview she is full of magical wisdom, knowledge and loveliness.

Whoever thought of doing this is a genius! Nadia was one of my childhood heroes. No matter what age we can do great things.

I was 12 then and I can remember watching her in amazement! I started my gymnastic journey at this same time in the beginning of Middle School. Such an inspiration!!

I don't expect to see anything in my life more astonishing or sublime as her performance in 1976.

NADIA is even more beautiful than she was younger !.

73 is an odd number, also a prime number, it has only two distinct divisors: 1 and itself 73. 73 is the 21st prime number, which is the product of multiplying 7 and 3. 7=3=10 It's like a mark of a divinely orchestrated moment at the Olympic games in Montreal, the moment of her greatness. Her presence and performance impacted us like a manifestation of Grace. Nadia este unica, "fara pereche", "fara egal".

I am Canadian, Bigtime Montreal Canadiens fan. Nadia won those medals in the home of the Canadiens. The Forum has been the site of many stanley cups and a funeral in 1937. It is rumoured to be a home of (hockey)ghosts and many wonderful things. After Nadia won her events The Forum became a place of wonder for something else. The first tens in women's competitions for gymnastics. She is the Darling of Montreal. I wonder if she ever went back

Nadya was a complete package. Aside from her obvious talents she was also beautiful. For many of her generation Brooke shields was the it girl. Nadya was ounce for ounce just as lovely.

I was a young Aussie girl living in the UK going gymnastics. I remember my gymnastics club sent us to meet the Russian and Romanian gymnasts at Wembley Stadium! It was epic 👏

She looks perfect too.

I think a 10 because she makes it look so easy, like anybody could do it, even though we know better. I do remember having so much fun on the bars at school no uneven ones, but some of the girls would do such crazy stunts! Once I fell and landed on my face Ouch, but we would get up there anyway. Maybe some of those performances were 10's but without the pressure and just 4 fun! I miss those days on the playground pretending to be Nadia.

@Trendy Maths, it’s open to interpretation, she’s double perfect, she’s such a humble and sincere person. How many sports people do we know of with half the personality, half the talent and 10 times the ego. I sent this to my 12 year old daughter, she loves gymnastics more than anything. And no, I’m not giving away my age! 😃

It IS a coincidence when it comes to Nadia's competitor number 073, and it was meant to be because of Nadia's talent and the sheer hard work of her and her team and of her coaches.

Some people may think that the science of numbers takes away from Nadia’s drive and , well “greatness” but, it doesn’t . she had to be who she was in order for everything to be in alignment. In order for her to be the legend that she is is indeed one in 1 million but not by chance completely.. awesome and deeply interesting!! Thought provoking for sure!

Amazing never before seen raw footage. But the interviewer is a bit annoying, asking more or less the same questions and interrupting her a couple of times without letting Nadia conclude her track of thought. But It's funny when they showed the footage from the perfect 10 on the scoreboard but it was for Nellie Kim on vault instead. Very classy of her to correct it.

I saw a comment Nelli Kim made recently and she displayed resentment, saying the judges ‘forgave’ Nadia’s mistakes. What an awful thing to say and not be happy FOR someone else, the signs of bitterness and envy. Yuck
