The river has been the very source of life. From Sufi fakirs in the North, to Baul singers in Bengal, to Sangam poetry and the great classical composers of the South - an ocean of poetry was inspired by the river.
Nadi seeks to explore the love and longing, the physical changes and the deep philosophy of the river, through these centuries-old voices. A tribute to the river, Nadi is a dance performance where 8 dances come together to capture stories of the flow of water..

Every year, we take a pause to reflect and seed the threads for the year ahead. Through a concentrated celebration of art and culture, artists and artisans, and our local neighborhood community, we recognise simultaneously the collaborative spirit of art-making, as well as the importance of our individual, often isolated, artistic journeys.
