NAD Dosage, 3 Degradation Pathways & Delivery Formats | Professor Joseph Baur Interview Series Ep3
Ғылым және технология
In this video Professor Baur talks about the dosage and format for boosting NAD. Also the pathways through which NAD is degraded and rebuilt.
Joseph Baur is an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. He is one of the world’s leading NAD researchers. Dr. Baur performed his postdoctoral studies with Dr. David Sinclair at Harvard Medical School where he developed a strong interest in the regulation of aging and metabolism by sirtuins, which require NAD as a co-substrate. A major focus of his lab is on understanding how changes in NAD metabolism contribute to aging,

Always interesting. I am curious to see the comparative analysis of what happens with periodic fasting activating sirt1 compared with a non periodic fasting subject doing 7-Day fast maybe twice a year? It seems there's a homeostatic clock that is down regulating NAD+ , for a purpose in aged animals. It would increase me to learn of there are approaches to understand the cause and fix that issue. I could imagine all downstream deregulation would cease in that instance. Thanks for your videos... they certainly provoke thinking in this arena.

Hi Omar, Thanks
I guess one can't use senolytics against active immune cells expressing CD 38 eh? What about did you say epithelial cells lining blood vessels? In what stage of maturation are they?
And which senolytics are active in which tissues?
Cascading effect coupled with mental & physiological encouragement, can and will employ the Nad+ & nmn to kick start natural increase in these element

Patches of any significant stregeanth are super hard to find. The good patch manufacturers are not producing patches of the right size and stregeanth for humans in fear of low repeat business; Life Wave inc. Yes, Capitalism gone mad!
Good to learn about the pathways of NAD degradation, thank you!

Hi Ray, thanks for your comment
And how many senescent cells are in a tissue at any given time????
I'm not sure whether it's just a NAD booster or a NMN, NAD/ NR Booster combination but there's "nasal delivery's now and oral sprays", I'm not sure how good they are - the delivery etc. but it looks very interesting and it's something to think about instead of the powder under the tongue or just the "pills". Reckon I'll at some stage try both and see what it's like (the delivery and the price!). Great video upload also btw! / Have a great week.

What's the best senolesent to degrade CD 38?

Comment to Dale Dale, Great question, I see no response to your query, why not ? I have always been speculative about molecules like CD 38 (are they necessary 0r, a trap intentionally place there to fool elementary scientists of the future ( meaning now) while in actuality actually its main purpose is to accelerate the aging process of the body so the consciousness spirit will never self -realize who they really are. And, slavery of those pore captured soul will never end). That said, after reading those transcribes quniforms excavated in (1960s) and translated in the 70s. Later Sadam Hussein contradicted a Linguist and Archaeologist named Zacharia Sitchin to translate over some 100 thousand quniforms ( left behind by the head of the invading expedition name Enky... whom the planet ended up being named after [e arth]...) Sitchin, later published several of the translations as his books Saddam was killed by the occupiers. But, the Book titled, "Lost Book of Enky" is said to held back by the secret rulers of Israel. BTW Sitchin is believed to han been killed by those some 2 yrs. after he released the book. After I read this I became 1000% certain that those type molecules are deterrents. A Genius sister named Ninma a Geneticist and her equally brilliant brother Enky in those quniforms documented, making modifications to to our Human Homo sapiens (ancient ancestors some 25 to 60 thousand years ago for slave labor). The final outcome is us. Yes, you I and all of us here. Then, only to see what our special force's did upon the invasion of Iraq: they took to looting all the Measums for their artefacts (see on CNN live but that's when Ted Turner still owned it and, they televised real truth and real news). Anyway, let me know what you discovered and your opinions after reading Lost Book of Enki. Wisdommaker@protonmail.com Hermes of Texas Happy haunting

Hi Rja, Thanks for your suggestion. Can I ask what you mean by pre-structured questions? We do have a list of questions prepared before the interview, but the nature of the answers can change the flow and mean that I ask different questions.

@@ModernHealthspan By pre-structured questions I mean the question has an intro and specific target of scope so the answer is more straightforward with less messy time wasting clarification or followup.

Hello, I’m in a unfortunate situation. After my accident I was put on opiates. I’ve read this can potentially help with the withdrawal. Would the intramuscular injections offer similar benefits? I can’t afford the IV treatments but I can afford the prescription for intramuscular.

There are many detox/rehabs doing just this. It’s given daily for 5-10 days IM 750-1,000mg each day. Also the Bridge device seems promising though I can’t find it anywhere for purchase. If you buy NAD, buy it from a reputable vendor. I think I just wasted $75. What I was sent was NOT in a sterile vial, and remains un-dissolved like sand in water. Totally useless. Good luck!
@ChristiannTyler

@@debir4111 thanks for the reply, have you heard anyone speak about it working other than the ones that have a financial incentive to say it works? Also, I think that is how the intramuscular NAD comes where you have to add a sterile solution to it. I could be wrong but I know many things are like that such as HCG which I’ve been prescribed. 75 seems too cheap for that though. It’s I believe 200 from my doctor for a 10ml bottle.
