I wonder if Israel claim that West Bank and North Israel always belong to them since Kingdom of Israel or being to them 3000 years, but 2000 years they do not control from Roman-Eastern Roman/Byzantine(with in vassal Ghassanid Arab Christian kingdom), and Arab Caliphate Empire(Dynasty Rashidun, Umayyad, Abbasid of Baghdad, Fatimid, and the last is Abbasid of Cairo, but power under Ayyubid and Mamluk Sultan, until 1524, and Caliph transfer to Ottoman Turkish, that why Ottoman have 2 titles Sultan and Caliph while Oman, Morocco etc was just Sultan or Emir/Prince, Sultan mean Authority, it's like Shogun and Emperor of Japan, Shogun have power and rule, Emperor jus become head of state/empire and ceremonial), for 2000 years Jews do not control, rule nor majority population and not even as 2 largest, it was Christian was the 2nd largest after Islam. After Arab Muslim rule, under Caliph Umar, the 2nd Caliph allowed Jews to return to Jerusalem and bring 70 Jewish family to Jerusalem, under Roman, Jews was banned in Jerusalem and nearby region mean Palestine. Muslim help always Jews and Samaritans 2 group of Israelite because not just similarity of Islam and Judaism like not eating pork, no blood, Halaka law and Syriah law, but also circumcision and Jerusalem as holy land, and most important Abraham are the father of the Jews(Israelite) and Arab/Muslim(Ishmaelite), Qedar Confederation and Israel Kingdom next each others, Jews have Jerusalem as capital, Samaritan with Nablus(Mount Gerizim as Holy Site), while Nabateans in Petra, with other major and small city like Avdat in Israel, and Madain Saleh in North Saudi Arabia. if Israel claim 3000 years ago being to Israel why not South Israel which today Negev also included Gaza give to Arab, which belong to them for 3000 years non stop, Ottoman because of Muslim, and also have local governor that rule that region, some province have local King like Crimean Tatars, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia with Beys, Lebanon, Hijaz(Today Saudi Arabia) and Mamluk of Iraq(not include non muslim vassal and autonomous like Romania). so Give back Southern Israel Negev or Naqab in original name to Arabs let Arab native of Negev choose to Joined Jordan, Egypt or Saudi, beter =Join Saudi more stable economy, wealthy and bigger country., or as Independent State as Palestine in exchange of West Bank give to Israel. AND Golan must return TO SYRIA. Most people of US, UK, EU-NATO and Australia do not knw about Negev belong to Arabs for 3000 years(2962 years if wnt more accurate) which unlike Israel do not control the land 2000 years, nothing in Islamic time and medieval time have Jews control Palestine far have Medieval kingdom, that why JEWS DO not have Medieval traditional culture, traditional weapon, bodyarmor, medieval architecture, castle, palace, fort, old city wall, old city gate, citadel, architecture, clothing and Kingdom, that why Jews in Middle east and North Africa used Arab Egyptian, Syrian, Yemeni, Moroccan/Moorish architecture, in Europe used European architecture or Moorish(Islamic Spain, Portugal, Malta, Sicily, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia), in China, Kaifeng Jews they used CHINESE architecture just like Chinese temple and Chinese mosque, in India they used Indian Mughal style or mixed between European, Moorish and Mughal. SO Negev must return to ARABS since Qedar Confederation and Nabateans, with Avdat, Elusa and others site as archaeological proof and historical heritage site.

Great summary of the Nabataean era! Comprehensive and visually entertaining but it misses two important points: - The Nabataean script used for writing Arabic and Aramaic eventually gave rise to the modern Arabic alphabet which is still the second most widely used script in the world today. As an Arab people, the Nabataeans influenced other Arabs in the interior even before the rise of Islam and indirectly continued their influence well into the era of Muslim caliphates. - The video largely ignores the southern half of the Nabataean kingdom located in modern Saudi Arabia. Although shown in maps used for the video, the locations and history do not get a mention. The city of Hegra within that region functioned as the second capital for the Nabataeans after Petra! They conquered the area from the Dadanites to consolidate their control over the spice trade and left many architectural marvels there to this day. Framing them as a Levantine group does not do their civilization justice as they remained intertwined with their Arabian ancestors to the south and flourished in northern Arabia as one contiguous kingdom.

Amazing video and script. The Nabateans, known for their impressive city of Petra, also had another significant city to the south called Hegra (Mada'in Saleh). This site is located in modern-day Saudi Arabia and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hegra showcases traces of Lihyanite and Roman occupation, which preceded and followed the Nabatean rule, respectively.
