I am a Pakistani and I live in UK. Few days ago my son came over and asked questions about his color and why he is brown where everyone else around him is white with blue eyes. He said I don’t want to be like desi people, suggesting that he might’ve felt ashamed of his color and ethnic background. I showed him this song, he is a 6 year old and now he feels proud to be brown and desi. Moral of the story: this song deserved Oscar because it is creating an impact on masses.

I am Japanese. I started to watch Indian movies for the first time. I was impressed by this "RRR", one of the best movies I have seen in decades. I wanted to learn Telugu. I have learned that even if we are from different countries, the passion that moves us is the same. I feel that Rama and Bhim are really cool and heroes with kind hearts. Naatu is also very attractive and I want to dance too. 2023/02/24 Postscript. I saw the Magadheera! It was very interesting and I could see that the director has always been very good at portraying "people's hearts and minds crossing" and that he puts a lot of effort into the action. I have seen the first chapter of Baahubali and am planning to see the second chapter next. In general, I felt that director Raja Mauli has been carefully depicting that "past causes and causalities are connected to people living in the present". And I felt that the main character portrayed by the director is often a very nice person who "does not abandon those in need. Thank you all for sharing these wonderful Indian films with us. I will continue to support Indian films from Japan.I saw the movie RRR 6 times in the cinema. I would like to see more. It is the best movie of my life.

I am from Punjab. I do not understand a word of this song. I just love its music and the dance, energy of the actors. Second Telugu song I liked after O Antava in Pushpa. Earlier I have watched Bahubali and liked its songs too. I watched Magadheera also. Happy to see dubbed and subtitled versions available online and connecting us to culture across India. You know BTS there fandom is called Army, and haven’t you heard about that a BTS member named Jungkook danced on this song, Our Indian culture is also spreading in South Korea, he even watched the movie…. The news is also there in newspaper, you can check that on google…..😕😑

@@gamecrazy132 well, to be fair to Lady Gaga and Rihanna, i don't recall anybody taking an Oscar home for a song using the same music phrases over and over and over, or dancing while using the same moves over and over and over. there's no doubt its a fiesty rip-roaring video, and i have no clue what the language is saying, but don't be too surprised if it is not a Best Original Song Oscar winner.

The two men are sensational performers and dancers. But the song they are singing is S*** . - It is really bad. This is nothing like JAI HO by A.R. RAHMAN..!!! THAT song had melody and deserved the oscar which it did win...!!!

@@dikshitsai1080 --- YES.! I saw that they won the Oscar. Hard to believe when it was such a BAD song..!!! It was just a bunch of horrible noise strung together & used fierce dancing to distract from how bad it was. The ONLY reason why it won is because the film was such a HUGE COLOSSAL HIT AROUND THE WORLD.! But nothing on earth can ever make this song a good song. It has no melody & is therefore basically crap.
