    Inspiring. Subtitles and the music move the process to another level. Will we ever get tired of seeing this magic? No. Thanks for sharing.

    I love this video! Can you tell us how you came up with your exposure time and your contrast? A video explaining this process would be wonderful. Would you consider that?

    Seeing this makes me want to try this. I have had a go at salt printing and cyanotype, but the tones in platinum printing really appeal. One thing I did struggle with was paper. Now I need to find what I need to buy here in the UK. Thanks 👍😊

    Thanks for the video. How much does the concentration of the developer have to do with the finished product? Is there an optimal concentration?

    Hi, Great video, thank you. Is the clearing bath single use or do you store it and re-use it? If you do discard it, is it safe to dispose of down the sink?

  • @bosticksullivan972

    You can reuse it if you're only doing a few prints at a time. I would say a normal clearing bath will clear about 10-15 prints and after that, you'll want a fresh clearing bath.

    Do you coat multiple papers at a time? Is there a maximum time limit that you have for a coated paper (if stored properly) or is it something that needs to be done ASAP after drying?

  • @bosticksullivan972

    @bosticksullivan972

    Definitely, at the beginning of a printing session, you can start coating many pieces that way they'll all be dry but the time you go to expose them. I wouldn't let your coated paper sit for more than a day or two. You can, the problem is that your paper can dry out too much and if there isn't a certain amount of humidity in the paper, it won't print properly at all. But a day or 2 stored in a dry, cool, dark environment will be just fine. You really only have to worry about the paper drying out too much if you live in the southwest or your area has very dry winters.

    Where are the protective gloves??? These chemicals e.g. "Ferrous oxalate" are hazardous in case of skin contact. It is irresponsible to show an educational video and do not care about protective gloves. This is not about baking a cake and using sugar!
