Wow that 0-60 time of that brz felt pretty fast like it’s time less than 5 seconds and it didn’t even felt like 200 hp, that felt like more horsepower

Somthing interesting actually...thr Curb Weight of a Manual BRZ is about 2700lbs while the GTI is 3000lbs... 20hp really isn't enough to make THAT much of a difference. The main reason is become of the insane amount of Torque the 2.0T TSI makes...but theirs somthing else. VW under rated their MK7 engines quite heavily. They advertise 220hp. But the real numbers are closer to 250-260hp. You can see this all over KZread, forums and even live of you dyno your MK7. The cars are stock making 220-235whp (depending on fuel choice)

@@boboutelama5748 every manufacturer does that, and has been doing doing so for some time now. It has nothing to do with out runing regulations. It's just simply easier for marketing. Sell a car advertised for 210hp when it actually makes 250. Next year advertise it's got 220, 230...

Something is up with that BRZ Most of the BRZ ive measured for 100-200 kmh gas been averaging 22.2 seconds. This BRZ time for 100-200 kmh is averaging 15 seconds.

BRZ stock is enough for a poor man like me

This BRZ is bone stock (200hp). There is no turbo or any modification. What you can hear is electrical noise (maybe battery surge or alternator-related issue?).

This brz does 100 kmh in 6 sec so its not stock. Stock its 7.4 to 100 kmh according to hundreds of youtube videos. Even my 2019 brz ts does it in low 7 sec

I believe it depends on the weather where you live i.e. if close to 0 Celsius of course the tires spin in first and second gears, but in warmer conditions, they won't spin much. This car has only 200 hp...

It happens often I have wheelspin in 1st gear, sometime from 1st to 2nd gear, but not much. With header and tune I believe it makes a big difference at high rpm, where you shift gears...

Right! Gt86 have bad tires. These tires have not so much grip. 6/6.5 seconds for the 0-100 is not bad for 200 hp

I would take the brz. I love the looks and who gives a fuck if it’s slower than a VW golf, this isn’t a speed car . Also I just don’t like Volkswagen group cars in. General . Sooo there that.

Possiedo la BRZ da un 1 anno e ti posso assicurare che è un auto veramente bellissima esteticamente e divertentissima... Ho provato il GTI ma l unica cosa che riesce a fare è da semaforo a semaforo e non mi ha dato nessuna senzazione... Si guida benissimo e ha una tenuta eccellente, un cambio duro e cortissimo... È una vera sportiva con soli 200 cv. Non potevo fare acquisto migliore.

1000 volte un aspirato a trazione posteriore che un noioso turbo anteriore! Uscita della curva sempre pronto il motore senza ritardo e sculate su in montagna senza controlli che poche riescono a fare.... Tutto questo a 35.000... Per quello che ti da e quello che la paghi è la migliore nel mercato

This is a stock Golf 7 GTI Performance (220hp), which is 10 more hp than the non-Performance GTI (210hp)...

Gti is force inducted of course it will beat a brz turbo torque will always trump naturally aspired.

BRZ Turbo? BRZ and FRS are all N/A. Even if the GTI is turbocharged and the BRZ isn't, they both have the same power, more of less a few hp. Both are 6-speed manual. The GTI is FWD, while the BRZ is RWD, which is an advantage for the BRZ. But the GTI has a lot more torque...

dude....., i have driven both and own a mk7 R Dsg, in where the dashboard says the km/h digital shoud be a S1 as Sport 1 or D1 as Drive 1, meaning the DSG on, that golf only says 1,2,3,4 wich means its manuell. And the DSG is one of the fastest changing gearboxes that exist. look at other videos and you`ll know.

Who cares? You're going to be at your destination before it even reaches that speed. This shit anemic as hell.

The BRZ sounds better. Boxer engines are superb. I dont care about the power difference and the lack of turbo etc blah blah, I prefer the Subaru. The roads are filled with VW Golfs, TDIs, GTDs, GTIs, Rs, how exciting. Not. I was behind a two year old WRX STI yesterday, and that was the best car id seen all week. Sick of seeing the usual bland suspects on the motorways. German badges everywhere, and laughably, the drivers still think they are in something special even though every other car is the same haha. Be an individual, get a Subaru or something !

Idk where you live but i see boat loads of subarus all the time. I drive a stock mk7 gti because its reliable and fun plus you can hear the wooshes from the turbo. The brz is slow it has no “wow” factor the interior is dated it doesnt have many features. You gotta upgrade it for it to be any sort of fun. Only thing it has going for it is that its relatively neat exterior and thats it. As a driver its like driving a nissan sentra… so idk what your going on about just because their arent “as many” on the road doesnt make it special or unique it was just unpopular to begin with and the price was terrible for what you got thats why there arent many on the market… very few actually bought these new when they came out and nowadays most people that build these also make them rice… to each his own though i guess so long as you enjoy your car.

Gti has 20hp more then brz and gti has way more grip in the first gear...and it is only faster of 3 seconds on the 0-200. I think it is a really good result for the brz

This is a bone stock BRZ (200hp). It doesn't have any modifications... I agree with you that BRZ's and FRS's a quite slow, but I've to admit they are pretty fun to drive actually! You can have a lot of fun in corners with a lightweight RWD and 6MT car...

You dont own any of these cars. It is clear that the BRZ, on a race circuit, or mountain road, will always beat both WRX and GTI. I have had all of them, all new, modern versions. GTI and WRX are much faster in straight line, which is almost never in life. I currently have a 2018 BRZ limited with performance package, and it is by far the faster "track" car. But continue to be armchair car guru.

Official 0-100 is 7.5 for the brz...but actually brz does it in less time (especially with good tires, not stock ones that doesn't help you with traction)
