Starting a new project!!! NA MIATA... Going to restore this little car. I will be doing a step by step on how i build this car, so be sure to follow along. I will be uploading a new video every week! I will be doing a new top, brakes, wheels and tires, fender rolling, body work and paint, coilovers, and start putting together a turbo kit.

I just found this video and first it sounded promising. But the more I watched, the more it sounded like yet just another cheap turbo project. I was hoping for a quality restoration.

Don't worry, it will be quality. It just has a long way to go. Will be doing top, brake calipers, wheels and tires, body work and paint, new seals on engine, timing belt, mega squirt pnp2. That will be a good start. Maybe you can come back in a while and see the progress!!!!!

FastGuyZ The problem is that putting a turbo on such an old engine will result in parts breaking all the time, making it unreliable. If you wanna stick a turbo on, you basically have to overhaul the whole engine.

You are right. I've been trying to find another bp engine to do a full build on. pistons, rods, oil pump water pump, arp studs and bolts.
