Veena ji worked very hard on this to give us the authentic feel! she is extremely talented, more classics coming up with her including Aaj Jaane Ki Zid .... Augmented chords are a nightmare initially, first they sound "satisfying" (which is their purpose anyways, to create tension before resolution) and then if tuning is bad they sound even worse. Yes, it’s similar to Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli - Anand movie and this song was sung by Manna Dey, composed by Salil Chaudhary. In my opinion this song Naa Jaane Kyon - Choti Si Baat is very very difficult to play and sing 🎤 at the same time and passing cords are even difficult to switch in quick succession. I need to practice hard.

Kya baat hai Pawanbhai...Had never thought you would have a lesson for this intricate Salil Choudhary composition... Most of the lessons at YT miss the "G#, G#aug, Fm" combo at the first instance of the word "क्यूँ" in the line न जाने क्यूँ...actually this combo gives that special touch to the Mukhada. Secondly, the chords rightly figured out by you during the end of Antara...टूटे रे हाय ये सपनों के महल...G#, D#, C#, D#7, G# ...Just perfect !!! Hats off... . The G#, G#aug, Fm combo also sounds too good and literally spine-chilling for the part "...लग जा गले, ए...ए..." in the Madanmohan Latadidi timeless classic song "लग जा गले, के फिर ये..." Was looking for that combo for many years after I heard it from a guitar teacher then... The key or pitch maybe different (maybe half note above or below) but the sound is same ... Your explanation of this combo Made my day and it gave me a memory notification of those old moments. :) Thanks a ton !!!

Typical Salil Da style song reminding me of song "zindagi kaisi hai.." from film Anand. The pecularity of both of the songs, is the timing that seems quite tricky to me... Have tried "zindagi kaisi.." before; took me some time to master the 1st beat (Sam) of the song...but, felt it challenging though to keep the 'taal' all throughout. Pawan Sir, hats off to you for presenting such a composition..quite difficult to play on guitar with the pack of chords involved. Good vocals by Veena ji. Thanks, for presenting such a soulful song respecting all the subtleties within, Sir ji. God bless🙏🙏
