I have done the exact same. Bar for mk2 barra I put in my BA. 20k going strong. Brings me joy everyday. Great content.

Turn up your grub screw under the s5 solenoid plug on your btr 4 speed so it shifts firmer and holds the clutches better and runs cooler

I so want to do my XE with a na barra but I reckon a turbo would be better.Awesome video mate.

Disconnect the thermostat that goes to the transmission cooler as well because it leaks as well I used a z hose cut down to connect the two hard lines

Great video mate! Another great video full of useful information on doing the +T conversion. I’ve recently completed a BF XR6 +T. Highly recommend it to anyone. Very affordable option that can produce plenty of reliable power for the money.

EBay, but I’ve since found that apparently the FG turbo map sensor plugs straight in 👌🏻

Currently attempting this conversion on my Manual XL Ute , your videos have been very helpful. Have you made any more power modifications since ??

Nice! No not really, I replaced the transmission with a turbo btr and upgraded the intercooler for a bigger version to help reduce heat soak. Made a massive difference. It’s been my daily for over 3 years now

With ya map sensor don't people use FG that way ya ment to bypass the need of that adapted plug I could be wrong

Yeah it’s still motoring along well. Definitely recommend a bigger intercooler than standard but apart from that, don’t overdo the psi and you’ll have a great reliable 350hp daily 👍🏻

That exshurst manifold got 6 branches how what size is that engine it looks like the Volvo and Ford ST focus but they are 5 silinder

@jessegallagher-c3u you’ll be able to drive it but I wouldn’t be throwing a lot of boost at it because it’ll be too lean and you’ll burn out the pistons

What oil drain fitting did you use mate?

I can’t remember, it’s been over 3 years since I did the conversion. It was just an eBay item. I’d suggest searching for an XR6 turbo oil drain on there, I’m sure they’d still be pretty easy to find 🍻
