Had a runs with much better gameplay,but spawns were awful,which resulted in a slower times.

I swear the venom never did anywhere near that much damage or fired that fast especially against armoured targets

Maybe you didn't have it a high enough level, when I played on console I only had it at lvl 1 and it seemed pretty lackluster but on pc I was able to get it to lvl 10 and I gotta say it is one of the best weapons in the game S-Tier class no doubt.
