N3 Amrep Hopper

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Fairly self explanatory. Had the chance to use the N3 so I took full advantage. Enjoy

Sweet! Perfect angle, lighting, and editing. It was so cool to see the arm from this angle. The cart glides up, flips, and sails back down in one fluid motion. Good work!

I wonder how much of the load gets recycled. I've seen info that only cardboard and cans get used.

I like the video but just wish I could see the actual smashing of the refuse. All one can see is the refuse moving forward, but no compaction of the garbage.

I found myself hypnotised by the rapid drive of the lifter chain during the first few minutes, barely even looked at the packer or recycling in that time lol Now that you've driven one, exactly what goes on behind that lifter, how is the chain powered exactly? Awesome camera setup getting that view, get to see the cart coming up and flipping over, all the contents that fall out and of course the packer cycles... don't see in the body, but that's for another angle. Found myself getting very frustrated at what seemed like a short packer retract, where it wouldn't go back under that edge, so stuff would stay on top of that short surface and not fall down - was it stopping short or is that normal retracted position? I couldn't figure out a pattern as far as the cycle frequency, were you triggering them manually or was the computer just autopacking as it felt like it? Top upload, one of the best hopper videos put up in recent times... got through over half of it surprisingly quickly... and I would've gone the remainder, but time is limited right now.

AussieGarbo glad you enjoyed this one. You know, I still haven’t looked to see how the arm is powered exactly. When I get the chance I’ll have to do some digging around on the arm and I’ll send ya some info. As for the packer, I had it set to autopack once after every arm cycle however there is a button I can press to do an extra cycle if I want. I find that 1 pack per dump seems to keep up pretty well with maybe a little manual packing in between. That pack stroke bothers me as well, that is actually the full home position. Granted it might be able to be adjusted a bit but for the most part, that’s where the packer ends

Mitch, there's a vertical cylinder mounted in the back of the mast that pulls the chain to raise the grippers and extends to lower. the chain isn't a complete loop like on the older amreps. then of course a proxy tells the smaller 2 cylinders when to push the pivoting section up

Was wird hier eigentlich gesammelt? Papier, Pappe, Glas, Sperrmüll, Restmüll, gelber Sack? Irgendwie alles sinnlos zusammen...

MrPummi88 Papier, Pappe, Plastik und Metall und Glas. Also alles was recycelt wird. Ist halt kostengünstiger alles an Recycling in einer Tonne zu Sammeln und dann später auszusortieren.
