I think I have a picture of this locomotive. On a magazine page, it's an advertisement for bathroom fixtures. There's a lady, dressed in white, a 1940's-1950's skirt, blouse, and jacket, with a pair of the standard high heels for the time. Both the lady and the train are standing at Union Station at night.

I saw 611 in Detroit in July 1986 after it was resting at night in the N&W yard after its excursion to Fort Wayne, and the crew was kind enough to let me in the cab, and one took my photo looking out the engineers window, but previously in the day I was at the Greenfield village and got to see their EDISON 4-4-0 and inside their old railroad repair shop, and back then I also used my small audio cassette tape recorder to record all those sounds of different steam locomotives 🚂 😉 😀!!!! HI IN MAY 2023A.D.!!

Man both of my grandfather's used to work on these old trains I wish they were still here to see some of them 😔 that sound goes straight to my sole.

It's insanely loud compared to other whistles though. I went here and saw this thing, and lemme tell you. The whistle vibrated my entire body, I was 50 ish feet from the engine.

It's multi-toned. This whistle doesn't scream like a lot of them did, it roars.
