I have only two with the back of the structure facing the operating side. I'm slowly adding little details of what I imagine a backyard might have in it. A picnic table or maybe a little garden. Fencing always looks good. Of course, if yours are for businesses, then the detail would change. Just my thoughts.

Question…..I believe you kneel on the foam while working on the surrounding terrain, what do you use to prevent creating divots with your knees? Weird question I know. But curious. See ya next time.

Thank you for the kind words, Ron. The track staining is a wash of thinned black acrylic with a little alcohol in it. I apply it with a 1" brush.

Mike Is your oil drilling rig an truck mounted or a stand-up affair? If it is a stand-up or steel tower the joints of drill pipe are nominally 30' and a stand of drill string 3 is joints or about 90' long. The crown block which near the top of the drilling mast (used as a pulley to pull and insert the drill string) is above the drill string. Therefore from the rig floor to the top of the drilling mast is typically 120-130' or so. If you are cutting down the height of your drilling rig make the height according to the protype. Of course you can make the drilling mast shorter, this is after all your layout.
