I completely agree. My older sister saved me from drowning when I was 6. That was the day she became more than a sister to me. She became my hero and best friend. We’re 36 and 37 now and I still thank her often.

@@Fortnite_balz She did a lot in finding a way to smash through a bunch of her particular problems, to successfully do what she did in this instance - get help before it was too late.

That baby's next birthday will be a special one for sure, it's the birthday that almost never happened. Surely that little girl's birthday will be one to never forget either. She did everything she could and what she did saved her little brothers life.

B-BUT.... i saved someone from drowning TWICE and no one cares, no one calls me a hero, or thanks me anymore, i didn't make the news like her and the first time I was about two or three and this other girl I was friends with who was about 1 or LESS was in the kitty pool and i screamed out "HER FACE IS IN THE WATER SHES SWIMMING WITH HER FACE IN THE WATER" cuz there was no way I could pull her out and I was excited to see her face in the water and I didn't know what drowning was but because of ME all the parents ran over and rescued her (THANKS TO ME) and the second time was a year a go at my friend's little sister's pool party and I was swimming with my best friend and my best friends little brother got upset with her(and believe me he is strong and aggressive) and they wrestle all the time and I don't usually do anything or I interfere but this time they were in the the water and she couldn't breathe so I yanked her brother of and pulled her up HER PARENTS DIDN'T EVEN DO A THING TO SAVE HER AND THEY DIDN'T THANK ME no one calls me a hero😭😐🤧😤😞😖😩😫😓😩😞😩😫😞😫😷😩😩😫😞😞😤😤😐😐😩😑😖😤😞😪😩😴😩😪😖😓😪😖😐😩😪😖👉🏻👈🏻no one makes me feel special like they make the girl from the video feel 😳 👉🏻👈🏻

I really love this young lady! She didn't allow her disability to get in the way of her love for her little brother. She really is a beautiful star, who deserves all the best that will continue to come her way.

She’s a hero. That’s the kind of person I’d want as a friend someone that would protect me if I was in danger in anyway

Within 2 days they had a fence up. Smart parents. Things happen. Children wander and sometimes its fatal. Thank goodness it wasnt in this situation. Im so happy to hear hes ok and that the parents took initiative right away n put up the fence

What an amazing big sister Lexi is. It's incredible that she was able to alert the adults so quickly making a noise she had never made before. It astounds me how smart little ones can be. Excellent work Lexi you are a true hero.

I have physically saved someone and done exactly what she did but with words when I was TWO OR THREE

Is no one talking about how beautiful that little girl is!💖

A similar thing happened to my little brother when we were about five and two - we were in my grandma's garden on our own, and he started running towards the pond, and of course, he ended up slipping and falling straight in. Luckily, it was a lot less dangerous - the pond was pretty shallow, and my grandma was just at the other end of the garden, looking away for a moment. I remember trying to pull my brother out by grabbing the back of his t-shirt - which didn't work, because I was five! I never thought to yell for help or anything, though - I dread to think what would have happened if it had been a deeper pond and my grandma hadn't heard my brother crying! This girl definitely has WAY better life-saving instincts than I did!
