അത് ശരിയാണ്. കാരാട്ടയെ അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ ഗൗരവവും ബഹുമാനവും ഉൾക്കൊണ്ട് തന്നെയാണ് ബ്രൂസ്‌ലീ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. പക്ഷെ അതിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു രൂപമായ കുങ്ങ്ഫു എന്ന കലയെ പലപ്പോഴും അതിന്റെ ഗൗരവം ഇല്ലാതാക്കി, കോമാളിത്തരം കൂടി കലർത്തി പ്രേക്ഷകരെ ചിരിപ്പിക്കാനാണ് ജാക്കീച്ചാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചത്. ബ്രുസിലീയുടെ കാലത്തു കരാട്ടേക്കു കിട്ടിയിരുന്ന ആ ഭയം പിന്നീട് ഇല്ലാതാക്കിയതിൽ ജാക്കീച്ചാനും, 'തലയണമന്ത്രത്തിലൂടെ' നമ്മുടെ ഇന്നച്ചൻ പോലും വലിയ പങ്കു വഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
