Nore was depressed. Pun died. His dad died. And then Nas, a guy he revered and thought he was cool with, got on the radio and randomly called his album wack (I love you, but the album is wack). Nas went on the radio and just started calling out everyone associated with Def Jam and Roc-a-fella, but he was also in a dark place bc of his mom's situation (either dying or already passed). Nore album was mid, but Nas didn't have to volunteer that opinion about his friend's music on air. He just did it bc Nore was signed to Def Jam. Cam caught a stray just for being signed to The Roc (you're a dope lyricist, but the album is wack). This is also a little while after Nas dissed Prodigy on Destroy & Rebuild bc P was on tracks with Cormega while Mega was dissing Nas.
Great interview 👍👍 and ending 😂
NORE gained like 100 lbs from 1996 to 2002. Was outta breath and outta shape. He wasn't gonna fuck anything up but a Cheese Steak.
