I agree. When I watched this scene, I didn't consider it sex or f*cking, I felt like they were literally a married couple making love for the first time. It was a such an emotional scene for me that I even cried 🥲✋🏼

I love the fact they used this platform to send out the message that consent and communication are very important in a relationship, not just between straight couples, but also in the LGBT community. Zee and Nunew are showing us what a kiss should be in real life or when 2 people are in love. There are still other BLs which kissing scenes look unnatural and forced, only lips touching or sometimes it feels like kissing a dead people... I guess many people knew that most of the BL actors are straight in real life and their job is acting and bring the script to life. Some would think that it's easy to do a kiss scene but if the actor is straight and he is asked to kiss another guy, it could be a challenge ( this would also apply to a gay actor who is asked to kiss another girl on screen). Instead, some actors would just touch each other lips without any emotions or feelings. They obvioulsly were acting but not fully into the character. But, I'm glad that in this series, it's noticeable that all actors spent time and effort to bring what is the best for the audience. I believe that Zee and Nunew spent so much time together preparing and knowing each other before filming to create this level of bonding. Without doubt, they were setting a higher ceiling for future BL actors.

I still can't get over whenever NuNew said they just went with their feelings during the kissing scenes I was like woah those feelings must be strong lol

This episode is really good. That got to be one of the best NC scene I have seen. It's not aggressive and sexual. It's actually very cute & romantic. Hia Lian is very soft and gentle towards Kuea the entire time. Plus, the music score and lighting made it so beautiful. I also heard there will be a special episode if the trend reached 3M and ZeeNunew will also announce their fandom's name.

I should've never watched this. My expectations are extremely high now across the board. THIS is how you show someone you really care about them. It's so realistic and romantic! The music, the lighting, the passion..COMMUNICATION..THE CONSENT.....OMGGGGG!!! I'M SCREAMING!!!!!!!! 😵

I’m so glad Lian didn’t say something like “if you change your mind I won’t be able to stop myself” first of all that line is so wrong in my opinion... like are you some kind of primitive animal that function only based on instinct? No. Also, people change their mind, if you say you’re up to something but midway you realize that maybe you can’t do it after all... that’s completely fine! I was getting so sick of that kind of line and I was so happy when Lian said that if Kuea didn’t feel okay at any point of the way they would stop! I’m so glad the BL scene is starting to get away from toxic behaviour and is starting to better understand and represent the LGBTQIA+ community! CONSENT IS SEXY!

I mean just to feel awkward doing it in front of everyone. that's how great of actors they are. and the chemistry between them is real. I had the same reaction. and I watch the twice. to let you know that in the original books they didn't even make it to the bedroom their first time was on the sofa. Wow! I found myself not breathing watching the making love part. That was not sex, it was beautiful love making. I loved how they continued eye contact and lian always making sure it was consensual. Loved the ep. The only annoying thing with it was kuea still wasn’t forthcoming. He holds lian to the standard but still hasn’t admitted anything. As for the other couples? No communication from one. They weren't really having sex in my opinion. They have been wanting to make love for a long time now because of all the bottled feelings. Personally I'm a firm believer in that communication can be either verbal or through one's actions. Not everyone is good with words, so as long as the message is successfully conveyed to both partners, I think it's okay. It's fine if you think differently than me, I just wanted to share how I saw this episode. ☺️

But last episode he said "I think you're misunderstanding something, I've always loved you."

Totally agree I was thinking the exact same... having sex before the secrets are out is never good in a story...makes the betrayal feeling worse ..even if the betrayal is not real; feeling it is enough to ruin the memory of 'love making'...reminds me of so many plots out there...and it could take even more time for Kluea to fell safe at the end
