Lian laughing/smiling at drunk Kuea is adorable. And the car scene was heartbreaking. I think its Lian that is confused between responsibility and love. Kuea was always knew who he loved

Literally had the HIGHEST expectations for this show and it already went above and beyond. The plot, the acting, the cinematography, the coloring/grading, the mention of LGBT+ issues, the directing? so brilliant, i can tell this is a fav already. And ofcoz zeenunew chemistry is really amazing.

That kiss after Kuea poured his heart out to Lian was just perfection..it was Lian's way of assuring him am here I do love, I got you...I have never seen a kiss that says so much with no words like this

"You can just pretend to love me" is the most heartbreaking line I've ever heard in a drama.

I like that Lian let him have his space. Lian did not interfere until he saw the other guy trying to feel up Kuea and realized that Kuea was way too drunk to give consent or defend himself against unwanted approach. Lian did not barge in to make an issue for him getting drunk and let the boy drink away his sorrows in peace until he too wasted to recognize the people around him, and then he stepped in to take him home. The kiss scene, though one party was drunk did not make me feel uncomfortable like many other series. This was an emotionally well build and sweet kiss. It was comfort and reassurance that Lian wanted to convey, but didnot know how to say out loud and would not be of any use to a drunk Kuea. This kiss really did not have me questioning romanticization of non-consent because Lian was not trying to take advantage in anyway....It was just...they were both hurt, Kuea was crying and needed comfort, Lian loved him but did not know how else to express it, and the kiss was perfect for that scene. The only thing is that poor Kuea was always looking forward to kiss first kiss with Lian and now he won't even remember it.

Well kuea was talking to him like he reconized he was lian. And kuea was talking about how he wanted lian to love him and kiss him. He probably over looked that kuea was still drunk. Usually I get angry at drunk kisses especially if one's drunk and one sober but because it was so emotional and you can tell they care about each other on some level (despite what lian said to kuea about not loving him). It was really sweet

The KISS after Kuea was finally telling Hia what he honestly feels inside about what he really thinks about their arranged marriage situation and how much he loves him, it was absolutely beautiful. That scene was played out so well. I didn't think the backseat of a car could bring that very romantic atmosphere.

Diao crying and Hia Yi being speechless as he doesn't know how to comfort him...I am really looking forward to their story. Jay promising to take care of Kuea, but let him do whatever he want even though he is wasted...and even letting Lian take away Kuea I am glad Lian respected Kuea's personal space and only approached him when that bastard was trying to get advantage of him. one word to describe this series "perfection". the actors are top tier they all have chemistry with each other. I have high respect for the production they never fail me, from the start to end it's perfect. NEVER had a second of disappointment, every scene is entertaining. it's my 1st time seeing an BL series as high class as this. well written plus good casting = PHENOMENAL. kudos to the people who helped each other to makes this MASTERPIECE.

NuNew is pleasantly surprising me with his acting skills. He could have been annoying or cringey while acting drunk, but I found him funny then just sad bc he's portraying Kuea's emotions so well. And ofc Zee is just so good with acting with his eyes alone.

I'm constantly surprised by Nunew's acting, he made me cry at that last scene. You can feel how much he has been longing for Hia's love and it broke my heart into a million pieces seeing him like that, unrequited love hurts so much 😔

I agree. Nunew’s talent conveys the pain his character must feel so well that it tugs my heart. And, I’m not an easily emotional person! I was also touched by Nat’s performance. I believe he has great natural talent, as well. The pain he felt when being scolded also transferred to me. I hope they continue to get the support needed to entertain us for many years to come. The team in this series work great together. This is one of the most natural flowing series I have experienced thus far. Looking forward to next episode?…greetings to all!

What i feel is hia got angry at kuea pretending so much in front of him that he said all those harsh things to him in his office but seeing how much his words affected kuea he wasn't able to hold himself and showed his love through a kiss . Both kuea and Lian are scared to open up to the other Lian is hoping kuea will open up but at this point even he is reserved but as they move in together Lian begins to understand that if he wants kuea to show him his real self he also has to show him his real vulnerable self 😍

Nunew is naturally cute. Really like his character. 😍🥰 And his acting is on point. The car scene is so convincing that i cried along with him. I could feel how sad he was in this scene. This episode really got me.

that scene in the car was beautifully painful. Kuea's pain when he was asking Lian to love him back @ pretend to love him 😭😭😭 so far the plot/acting are beyond my expectation and the chemistry between the casts are so good. cant wait for the next ep 🥰🥰

I will never get tired of saying how talented NuNew is. The way he expresses all of Kuea's pain & want for love whilst portraying him as heavily intoxicated is astounding. Also the kiss was very sweet, like a gentle apology. I'm sad that Kuea won't remember those events due to being drunk, as they were a huge development in his & Hia Lian's relationship, but hopefully some of it will come back to him in the 3rd or 4th episode. He finally told Hia Lian how he feels & Hia Lian responded by kissing him. They still need to communicate more & really express their feelings, especially when they are both sober.

I'm just pleasantly surprised by this show. Not only does it show lgbtq representation beyond teens and young adults, it raises issues in the community AND we get a portrayal of a healthy, male friendship between Kuea and Diao. Love that most of this episode focused on them and their history together. I do nawt like Diao's relationship with Yi and hopefully it becomes healthier as the show progresses. Also, Nunew and Nat would make a cute onscreen couple, Mandee get on that!

Seriously...Nu's eyes at 9:49 - 9:55 are so JULY SWEET!!!! Have always seen this, but after multiple times watching, I had to post. May delete it, but OMG...he is adorable here! Ultimately, I completely and totally cry every time I watch this episode. Nu's vulnerability is so apparent in the words he expresses to Hia of his true love and wanting of Hia's acceptance of their relationship on the ride home. Just think, this is his "First" series. Imagine what we have in store for the next 10-15 years of him in any and all Series, Movies, Singing, Concerts, and on top of that, the merchandising ability of Both of them. Just saying...

I cant count anymore how many times i rewatch this series.. I cant get over with them... The actors are so good especially nunew and zee.. They have the looks and talent... Im an official zonzon fanatic already!!

Tell it Gel! It is so damn ANNOYING that they have Kuea, with his adorable ass, begging Lian's unworthy ass to love him! F*ck that!!! He has so much going for him and should never have to beg anyone to love him. And I just hope he realizes that Lian needs to earn the right to be his man and not keep going along with some BS just because Lian made a promise to his grandfather without really consulting him. I also hate the fact our boy is drunk out of his mind acting irresponsibly. When he gets sober he is going to be cringing thinking about his behavior. I think it sucks that he had his first kiss with dumbass while he was drunk as well.
