the Kerrigan one is NICE, lol, classic, nostalgic, or, lol. Ahhhhh the memories. THIS IS JIMMY, lol. I can understand her rage, though, well, perhaps as she is infested.......at least it FEELS to her....they left her to DIE. Yeah, like Khan. And she was OUTSTANDING as a Terran in the military as well. Don't remember if she was of upper ranks, but she WOULD have been! But Zerg wanted a new Queen, and BOOOOOY did they FIND ONE. Duran played her, of course, hell, Duran played EVERYONE, another just epic character AND revolutionary of sorts in another life, no doubt. But the Zerg fared far deadlier under her than the hapless, really paralyzed Overmind and his IDIOT LT. Zasz, might be misspelled. Remember that dweeb? lol. The music in the intro blends WELL, too, and JUST long enough, lol. Heh, here is that doofus, they say he is clever here, and don't, WAS clever, and don't now what Liquid says but yeah, Zeratul put an end to him, although he was an interesting character, no question about his loyalty to the Overmind. It was Kerrigan though who REALLY accelerated the Zerg's expansions and invasions. REALLY turned Zerg into the powerhouse, universal danger the species became. My favorite character of all time, though, remains SAMIR......duRAN. Or........WHATEVER name or title he, she, they.....IT goes by! Just an epic, epic character, hope we hear HIS voice to the intros at some point, too, lol. That last hidden match was CHILLING. Even for just a game. WOW....great work by the game creators, storyline creators. and lol, Zasz was not HALF the L.T., vice leader like say, Alexei was! Who was also a GIANT, and a FAVORITE character. Gerard would have had HUGE problems had it not been for his most trusted man and FRIEND. DEAR friend. You can hear the pain in Dugalle's voice when he hears of his friend's horribly, treacherous fate. Dugalle is an inspiring, outstanding character as well, truly ADMIRABLE, and yes, I feel the Picard comparison, right down to his quarters BOOKS, library. The Scotch, the U.K. nostalgic heritage, and for sea travels and explorations, lol. Captaining on the REAL oceans and seas of Earth long past. Captain Kirk, no, ADMIRAL Kirk, as well, lol. GREAT characters and plot in this game.

had an academically ELITE friend in High School, and he loved Starcraft, too, and it seemed like my friend managed to fit it into his schedule, where he was CONSTANTLY busy, lol. Private school, too. And let's just say, there is a morality instructor, old man, who might STILL be there 20 years later who might call the game "sinful" lol.

oh and YES, I believe I was there, hahaha, if they game was around in 97, do not remember EXACTLY if it was, I was playing then I think, too, but I was an early player of the game as a TEEN, lol. Ah the memories.

35:50 Couldnt turn creeps into sunkens because there was no spawning pool! At 36 minutes!

Regarding your selection bias not casting shorter games - I certainly wouldn't mind more sneaky 2fer or 3fer videos where we see some of those shorter games but without losing our valuable FP screen time overall

Queen failed to LIVE FOR THE SWAAAAARM in full spirit, action, and effect, lol.

I think the Zerg would have won the match if he kept pushing the assault on the main base. Also, not destroying the Assimilators gave the Protoss a way in to the Zerg bases and cost him the match. Reversed on the Reversal! Also I watch ALL the videos, not just specific matches, because all I want is to see is Pro players showing their awesome skills, and hearing you comment is half the fun 🙂

video compressing algorithms do not do well on this map 😅, I can see probes dragging the map texture around them. Besides that great upload as always Falcon!

this game is mirror mirror on the wall! and 3:52 meets 18:37 Falcon's statement about zealots defending that expansion should ECHO. Like winter and spring, like sun and moon, dark and light, DAY........and NIGHT, lol and on and on and on. Ah Falcon, love your work and these games.

BTW guardians can be more cost effective with queens sniping DTs ahead of them, can't they?

There are definitely some lurker rush timings and slow lurker drop timings even some 1 base cheese plays that zergs can do where lurks hit before observers can be out. Those kinds of builds are really gimmicky and risky and cheesy and all innish so they aren't common. Basically if you scout it you hold it and you kind of win from there. But yeah there definitely are games where observers aren't out and lurkers manage to kill everything. Maybe some day we'll see something like that in a cheese compilation. I mean I'm not sure if any of those kinds of builds are still being used at all by the pros. This kind of stuff might be completely dated.

If Queen split the 22 Guardian/ Muta to early game to deal with the Templars on the 6 o'clock push he probably would've won it

Would be great to see dark templars & ghosts assassinate defiles before they can cast spells

DTs can do it, dark archons can do it. Ghosts? HAHAHA! Concussive damage. Defilers also have 1 armor. That means ghosts deal a whopping 4 dmg per shot (10/2 -1 dmg). You can never use ghosts on defilers, you're better off using wraiths for that. A proper buff for ghosts would be making their damage normal instead of concussive...and eliminating or enhancing several of their upgrades. Like having them build with cloak and ocular no upgrades required. Maybe add an upgrade for extra hp or something. But there are no more balance changes for BroodWar so you'll never see ghosts used at the top skill level.

The defiler dies at 29:52 and at 29:57 theres another plague but who threw it? Or he threw the plague just before it got killed? That discrepancy in animation that occurs occasionally

two of the greats! Hope Queen actually manages to PICK IT UP, development and speed wise in this game, unlike in previously recast matches. He seems to be perhaps faltering in said matches and they are in the multiple. But Snow seems to have slowed too, going to be a good match. I do predict a Snow win, but shall see when I watch sometime today (watching more in the evenings now, as day permits). Thanks again, and drops? Nemesis employed. You KNOW it will be good. Thanks FP. That was a confusing fight ... i love watching these tho! honestly with so many minerals over the cap why didn't the zerg spam creep colony? seems like creep + guardian would hold. (>'.')^ am i wrong?

Talking about colors in the campaign, it reminds me there's a Starcraft board game which is quite nice, (Kerrigan's side is purple in the game) Do you know it ? Of course it's different from the video game yet I like it a lot.

Deja Vu style game, lol. even their progress around and across the map, like clockwork, counter clockwork, and clockwork again, this time Snow takes it all the way practically around half the map, lol. Rock, oh rock, rock rock rock, Snow gonna rock around the SC clock tonight, lol.

If Queen keep the pressure at main base, another game it is. Even the assault with guardians was one of the best I've seen, but despite the ultras not worked, I consider that they were not well used.

or the hydras destroyed the Assimilators (sp?).. due to their disdain for Protoss, also a viable reason, lol.

and the CONSISTENCY of Queen's continuing attack, Flash-like but Zerg, THAT is what you want, especially against elites. Queen is elite but kept up the PRESSURE, lol. Another good tactic but WATCH your OWN economy. Also forced Snow to replace units over and over and over again, which did not help his economy at ALL. Great match.

His mistake was trying ultras against a solid archon/reaver build...Snow loves reavers and is absolute god tier with them.

SPOILER included: yeah, had a feeling Snow would win. Queen seems to have slipped, made a GREAT effort here, but the better player was Snow, as evidenced by the map itself, map display throughout the the game. He chased Queen basically around half the entire map. Compared to Queen's massive rampage. GREAT effort, but JUST NOT ENOUGH. Queen also should have kept the pressure going on his main attack, but was also SLOW in the other attacks and did not capitalize. Queen seems to....slow down, in many of these matches, and I don't know why, maybe just getting burned up with SC. He does have a long career like Snow. Good effort, Queen, but even in some of your BEST moments, WHY do you peter out? I mean, this is one of the more outstanding counterattacks WITH strat. in this one likely pre-planned and Queen STILL, well, perhaps throws it away! Even when he starts an outstanding attack like he DID here, he does not capitalize! Once again, though, NICE attack by Queen, had to have Snow worried but STILL.....he did not finish Snow off, despite a arguably devastating assault this time, that did NOT immediately peter out. Snow was ALMOST hopeless. ALMOST perhaps. But yeah, Queen failed to capitalize, and this is not the first game when he has "fizzled out," but one of the more recent ones where he had an upper HAND and STILL fizzled out! GREAT game all the same, though, thanks, Falcon, and it was very cool to see Queen not only make a huge move like that, but also always enjoyable to see elite players like Snow run into potentially FATAL challenges, problems, although not fatal to Snow, here, that attack by Queen was doing and DID a TON of damage, including economic. But Queen falls short, again. Sad, to see, really. Glad to see him still playing, but I wonder about his interest in the game, still, based on his playing style LATE game. Sometimes mid, and perhaps throughout. Too either laid back or....something, at TIMES. His main attack on Snow was a nice moment for him though. Thanks again, gonna watch this one again later, if only to see Queen stand UP to Snow like he did, hahaha, both are pretty much elite at the same level, but Snow....yeah, may have an edge, at least today Peace, great game, and one for the archives! Classic. Shame about Queen yet AGAIN, though, lol. Some of these elites may WONDER why their colleagues in eliteness of play do not so capitalize off OBVIOUS advantages. Peace. Loved this match, like others.

Falcon if you are worried about getting more subs or retaining them for that matter, you should probably focus on getting better at the game or learning more about the top players at least. You aren't the only one doing this anymore and your noobishness comes across quite hard. Artosis himself is now commentating casts and obviously his commentary is going to be a notch above yours.

I think u have to make a distinction between a casual commentator and a pro player, I think that's two distinct styles. It's the same in counter strike, when they have a pro player sitting in during a match to commentate the commentary is a lot more technical. That doesn't mean the other commentators have to read up on the game more, the two styles complement each other
