I've never put more effort into something, which means so little yet means so much.

NC Lawlor extraordinary slide playing is part of the oldest tradition in music which is that of the travelling troubadour... his relay is the 'misshapen' lineage of Turlough O'Carolan in the 'brotherhood and sisterhood of the wood and wire'... his venue is your street... his livelihood is your blind pocket

Nice guy, often shared the same venue i.e. Whelans, then recently saw him open for Mike Scott in Liberty Hall and had a chat at the bar, nice one.

Man, I've been following you since 2010 when I was busking on the West Coast in Galway. I don't quite recall how I found videos of you playing, but I was immediately floored. This documentary is the testament you have always deserved. Know that if you ever come to Philadelphia that you have a brother in music.

Thanks NC. This film is very inspiring and has raised some confidence in myself as a singer songwriter that is going back to busking after many years of being away from it. Ive tried many different paths as musician to make a living and in 2023 its harder than ever . so i'm going back to self relience and the need to just play for people more than anything else. Thank you for this and all the best to you.
