Rudina encountered Mr. Naim on the street by chance, who was holding a koran fish. They both entered the villa together, and Naim told Rudina how he got the idea to turn the house he inherited from his mother into a beautiful inn to attract visitors. That's why it's one of the most visited inns, by locals, but mostly by foreign tourists, french, italians, english, germans, everyone goes to Villa 43 A.S because it's never empty, winter and summer.
“I returned from Durrës to Lin in 2014, and we started rebuilding from scratch the house my parents left me.
This is my mother's house, where I spent the most beautiful childhood. After we rebuilt it, in 2019, we opened it to tourists. It was a bit difficult at first because of COVID, but now it's never empty. In the summer months, it's full of tourists”, Naimi says as he takes his wife the koran to cook lunch for a french couple sitting by the lake.
Mrs. Madjana is the hostess of the hostel. She cooks traditional Lin dishes, from pancakes for breakfast, to pies, pastries, and of course, the Koran casserole. Villa 43 A.S has a very unique architecture, especially in its windows and colours.
This distinguishes it from other villas in Lin. It has 5 bedrooms that are always full. The greatest pleasure, says Madjana, we experience when tourists return to us. We have clients from Tirana, but also from Germany, England, France. We are very pleased.
They like my cooking, the tranquillity, the nature, Madjana says, her eyes shining with pleasure.
"Look at them, cherish them, and love your mother's houses because that's where the key to happiness that people seek in life is. It's the house of love that Naimi has found and his son will inherit”, says Rudina.
