Now do you keep those filters in there for cycling other tanks or are they in there to help keep that tank cycled? I'm just wondering. My biological load is getting bigger in one of my tanks. I don't have room to set up another tank yet. What I can do is beef up my water changes and filtration, and turn my loach loose in the guppy tank, she loves fry,lol. I have a betta in each tank for population control of sorts. After a minute the fry over run the adults and they back off with eating the fry.

Are you sure that you have a redtail, it doesn't have a red tail, broad tail & its posture is of. The fish with a bad eye is a Vieja sp.
