I have been watching this little series on this picture and realized two things. I would love to see this live but haven’t figured out where and how to do that yet. The second thing is I figured out that i watch most coloring videos because i love watching what everyone colors and the process they use. I watch your videos because every time i do i not only immensely enjoy them but i learn so much! You are a wealth of information and i thank you for sharing what you know!!!

This is so pretty, loving the colours. I too love the length of your videos, cos we get to see everything along with the great tuition in real time. I think you may be right about different countries getting different standard of paper in these books, I coloured a page the other day in the animorphia and went round the edge of one of the front pages with those Crayola markers and some of it has gone through to the other side, but it was a black one, so maybe it was the Crayola. Tfs xo

Is all Americana paint matte? Are there any other craft paints to your knowledge have a matte finish?

I think most craft paints are matte UNLESS it says gloss or satin or metallic on the bottle.

Dede, I'm very unhappy with my sky, can I paint over it with white paint and start over? I'm thinking neo ll's won't work over paint so I will have to use pencils? Thanks!

I like Diamond the best because it shows the color painted/penciled underneath, but any of the "clear{ ones work pretty much the same.

When you are making a wash. How much water and paint?

Have to add enough water so the paint is see through to the black color book lines in backround. Each color is different.

Yes, but I use my watercolor and acrylics so much, I don't find a need to, It will work as a base with pencil over it, if that is what you mean.

If you mean the watercolor crayons, they are Neo Color 2. The paints are Americana acrylic craft paints :-)
