Mythic Legions - Poxxus - Action Figure Review

I'm back with a new series of Mythic Legions up for review! Starting out with the God of rot himself, Poxxus!
This deluxe figure comes packed with accessories, including transparent wings, arrows, and a unique aura that really makes this figure stand out from the rest!
As the Lich God of the Circle of Poxxus, we have unique sculpting and cloth goods, with details that really make him look decayed.
I'm really impressed with the new effects, the detail on each arrow using small insects as arrows, to that really great looking multi-shot arrow, its a same that they're so delicate. The transparent wings is just so well done, especially with bumpy texture they added to them, they really reflect and shimmer light to make them look glistening.
My only critique is the lower half of the figure is using the standard 1.0 style knight legs. While that's not the largest issue to talk about, long time collectors like me, are tired of seeing them reused, especially when we have newer options to choose from now.
Overall Poxxus fits the undead decay theme very well, a truely unique figure that we hardly get to see.
An amazing sculpt, fantastic accessories, and a very cool theme, Poxxus is one of my favorite releases so far!

Yeah, that face expression is the stuff of nightmares!
I can see a lot of people giving him Mask of Red Death's legs. Just the old knight armor legs was an odd choice; like sweatpants with an Armani suit jacket.

that seems like a excellent replacement for the legs, im still unsure if i want to slap on different legs, or just paint the ones already on him.

Still haven’t gotten mine (via retailers) so I’m living through all these reviews. First time here on the channel. It’s great! We have some overlap of figures we review / unbox / make videos about / collect, but you’ve got some great ones that I don’t follow much, so I’m loving your back catalog. (I soooo wish I jumped into those Metal Slug figs. They keep turning out glorious toys!) I’m also jealous of the organization of your page and consistency of thumbnails. Great work. ✌🏾➕✊🏾

I would love more rotted out characters, We will see where Four Horsemen goes with the Poxxus faction!
I can relate your disappointment with the lower half, would of been awesome to get some new corroded/crude armor that could also be used for skeletons, Orcs & stuff

Im honestly thinking about swapping them out with another pair, but i think a coat of grimy wash will make them stand out better!
Glasseater, detailing the pros and cons still a great figure. The head sculpt alone😱 and the work on the bow accessories 👌. Fantastic review.✌️

Appreciate it! definitely loving that disgusting looking head sculpt, some of their best work yet! hopefully they expand on the decaying zombie theme!
The waist armor and belt are backwards on your figure, but still a great figure review, I love how you add lore at the beginning

Good review. I have this figure and agree with your feedback. The Gods of Mythic Legions have all been well made but it's disappointing that old parts were used to create some of them.

They still look amazing when it’s all put together, but the basic parts make me wonder if they’re going to release a 2.0 down the line. Again, this is mostly a problem for long time collectors.
The bow with the wings is SO fragile. two of the wings broke off by simply just playing them on a table. Overall, love the figure.

Ah, sorry to hear that, Contact customer support and see if they'll get back at you with a replacement. As soon as i got those clear accessories out of the box, i knew they were going to be insanely fragile.

The wing in my bow snapped off, and customer service is refusing to do anything about it.

Ah, sorry to hear that, normally theyre really good at replacing parts, but the only requests ive ever made were factory errors, hopefully its nothing some super glue cant fix?
