If the rock carved wheel at 0:42 can actually rotate, that's truly amazing; but if not, then such camera trickery should be avoided in a documentary so that it is credible.

We had a chapter about this place in CBSE class 9 Hindi, called 'Kallu Kumhaar ki Unakoti'. The story mentions how a man named Kallu Kumhaar aspired to make 1 crore rock cut carvings of the gods, mainly Shivji, in just one night, and fell short by just 1.

Sorry, but without the source/reference to a hindu scripture this western channel using an Indian voice has portrayed Mahadeva Shiva as an evil dictator and the other gods as lazy sleeping Snorlax pokemon and have made a gossip out of it. even a demon like ravan was used to worship Madadev before sunrise daily. so all hindu gods have been demonized here worst then a demon. which is also against the vedic concept of 33 types of manifestations of one god/energy (Shiva/Shakti). i am reporting this channel. we need our own swadesi international channel to tell our real stories properly, be atmanirbhar be swatantra. if they want to talk about faith then why did they choose a negative story? what about other stories? most popular and most acceptable story about Unakoti i have known is that there was one yogi with his powers he carved 99,99,999 carvings in a single day. now this story sounds so incredible but they choose negative story which nobody knows and was possibly engineer to demonise Hinduinsm.

It is called Subrai-khung (house of Siva). Bangladeshi Bengali who took over Tripura changed its name to unakoti. It was curved by native Tripuri people.

Imagining Shiva as the best trekker on those days (obviously he is as he is the Adiyogi)...you can easily relate to his anger, as he might be waiting for others to get ready while he being the most early and then noone got up on time and they missed the chance to reach destination on time 🙈

It wasn't like this , iwas our princ name Trilochon= three eye human) who did called all the god and godess and asked them to stay with the humans , in which lord shiva said that if u really give as the place to live by curving our all bodies before the sunrise then we will stay , in which he failed , only 1 scluprure was left to be curved in which the sun raised so , the stones left as it is , the god and godess left , its a big channel dont say anything without knowledge , you are potraying wrong information, read RAJMALA the ultimate story of tripura kings

There is so much resemblance to temples in Cambodia and so many carvings of Vishnu and Shiva lingas in the Eastern lands up to Indonesia that it was a continuous culture in these regions. Need to revitalize that history.

I'm from Bangladesh. Last month one of my cousins has visited and told me about that. I will go there someday.
I live in Unakoti District.Unakoto is now a world heritage site.
It reminds me a story in which a man wished something from bhagwan, and bhagwan said that his wish will be fulfilled when he creates 1 crore statutes of many devi and devtaa within a day(i think) but he slept while creating one less statute then 1 crore and his wish remained unfulfilled. (I don't remember the exact story and wishes but this the summary pls anyone know of this story tell me).
