True education and intelligence is learning how to get your point across and be understood by your audience. Big words are fun, but everything has a place and in casual conversation there is no need. It actually makes that person come off as less educated because they don’t understand their audience.

To me, Mike is a mini me version of Josh. They both use big words to try and impress people. Their tattoo skills are meh (in comparison to others on the show) and they both always think they’re right no matter what.

i really think josh improved in s5 tho. and he’s a salesman in his own right which is probably why he comes as trying to seem smart. i’m pretty sure he said he’s autistic which would explain why he had a hard time getting along with people and reading others’ tones. of course he isn’t completely innocent, but i liked him a lot actually

The difference between the two is that Josh was there to compete and made better tattoos than the two tattoos Mike did in one season.
