More than 4,000 years of history can be seen in the Oldendorf Totenstatt in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath near Amelinghausen. Several Stone Age graves are spread over a wonderful heathland. The big boulders in front of the green junipers and the blooming heath are a great photo opportunity. A museum offers more information and a hike through the heathland with the various Stone Age graves is interesting.
