I don’t care what anyone says Mystic force is still considered one of my favorite seasons. The theme songs is a bop, love the suits, love the cast, and I also love the story.

Lightspeed rescue was crazy with some of that shit “What if we had a main character in constant agony every time they’re morphed because an evil snake demon tattoo is slowly killing them”

Mystic Force made my childhood and is my #1 favorite. It was actually the first season that I got to tune into all the way from the premiere. It's definitely eccentric if not unique in almost every way; from the capes, the female blue ranger and male yellow ranger scheme, the zords being the rangers themselves instead of vehicles/mechs, a nuclear family of rangers (Nick, Udonna, and Leanbow), and not to mention featuring Rita Repulsa as a completely changed character. It gave me chills when Snow Prince revealed that she is the magical source, meaning that she, who was literally the Power Rangers' biggest foe once, now serves as the new team's overarching guide, and they evoke her name whenever they morph. It's a small detail but with so much lore, love that.

Mystic Force was one of the most memorable seasons of PR. It was unique, and it sometimes terrified me as a kid because the rangers were vulnerable in many episodes.

What i remember as a kid watching mystic force The theme And the purple wolf ranger who was goated But I alike instead of typical aliens from space we seen forever We got actual mythology base races as well

I'll be honest, I had chills when Octomus appeared in The Return. He resembles Chthulu in design, and seeing what his version of Earth would've looked like was basically the equivalent to stepping into your own nightmares and never being able to wake up, even when you're awake, because it's real.

Honestly before even watching this video i have to say that Mystic force had one of my favorite theme songs by far and one of my favorite characters in the PowerRangers series being Chip, chip is one of those characters who i wish had larger side stories, the thought of him being an apprentice to daggeron and becoming a knight just screams awesome.

I love the subtle foreshadowing of necrolai's daughter being a vampire because when she was dancing she hesitated to get closer to the circle

Thanks for reminding me how great Mystic force was. Watching this show as a kid sometimes scared tf Outta me due to it's magical and sometimes weird stuffs but it always stood out from other power rangers because of these reasons alone. Right now I'm in my early 20s realising how lucky late 90s kids and early 2K kids were,we got to witness such a gem of shows like Mystic force,SPD,Dino Thunder, Operation over drive,Jungle Fury,Ninja Storm and many more. I'll always remember and cherish those golden memories!

Mystic Force was my thing, I love it, this is imo the best season. The whole fantasy stuff, the lore behind, the mystical (hehe) atmosphere, it just.....hooked me. I loved it.

I just remember having a crush on several of the main characters in this series as a child (and I stand by that to this day)

The only thing that actually really scared me when I was younger in the power rangers was wild force’s intro when the white ranger jump down and was like scratching the air💀 I have no idea why

loved mystic force and i remember that vampire episode and the pink ranger awakened something in me man, idk what it is but i was hooked

I liked the last few episodes fighting against the ten terrors. Especially vs Oculus the hunter. Being able to go into another dimension and de-molecularize people sounds like a great super power to have.

The music at the end of the video kinda reminded me of the OST of some of the Unicron Trilgoy era Transformers stuff

I can not for the life of me remember anything about Mystic Force, kinda. I remember how some of the villains reminded me of Bionicle Villains, the Gold Genie Ranger, and how Leanbow went from Purple to Red

Brother, I was just scrolling through KZread and was recommended your video about white ranger from dino thunder. I haven't watched or searched for ANY power ranger related content, so I was a bit surprised. Anyway, I watched that video and the nostalgia came flooding back. Mystic Force,Dino Thunder and SPD are my top 3 power ranger series, in that order. After watching the video, I remembered how there was this arc in mystic force where one of the rangers becomes a vampire, and to my intrigue, you have just uploaded a video on the same. Nice. Another personal favorite part of mine was when the rangers lose their powers in mystic force and have to go through special doors to pass some tests of faith to get them back. Mystic force in general was just very, very good. That villain Korak(I think that's what he was called) turning out to the red rangers father was so well written too.

Aside from the originals, I actually LOVE LOVE LOVED the entire Mystic Force series. It’s my fave

I don't remember much about this series (pretty much just the marshmallow pizza) but it does have maybe the best intro ever

I remember the first episode airing on TV in Greece, mom passes by the living room and was seriously concerned on what i was watching as a kid hahahahhahaha. I get nostalgia thinking about the Disney Era and how the franchise went downhill since Saban bought it back. Let's hope the reboot will actually happen and Hasbro will give us something more mature for once.

MF has always been one if the absolute favorite. The master freaked me out. I know we’ve seen all the other main big bads faces beforehand but we didn’t see the master yet just a big creepy eye from a hole. The imagination of could’ve been down there was freaky.

I LOVED Mystic Force as a kid,it was my second favorite iteration after Jungle Fury but my brain remembered these episodes as like a season long arc and for some reason I thought Vida was one of those characters that joined the team but had a secret plan to backstab everyone

Listen, I remembered Stranger Within and the fact that the Pink Ranger might have had a fling with Necrolai in that two parter. Just something weirdly screamed it. I also remember Xander saying Leelee's Mom is hot and Vida was the most exhuberant about it. I think she knew in more ways than one.

I just watched the Magiranger vampire two-part at a few weeks back. Your video is making me want to hunt down the Mystic Force version and check it out.

Thanks. I just finished the Mystic Force version of the vampire two-parter. I enjoyed it. The major story beats are largely the same. Characterization and relationships are different. Mystic Force leans heavily on schtick about Chip's membership in a Vampire Hunters' Club and milks the garlic clove gag more. (IIRC, Tsubasa [Magiyellow) only wielded the garlic clove against Houka (Magipink) once.] I don't really mind, since it was a funny gag. Mystic Force doesn't seem to have an equivalent to Nai and Mare, the two gothic lolis who merge to form Vancuria/Necrolai (sp?), but understand why they would likely be omitted from the adaptation of the property. Was a little surprised to see that the PR equivalent to Magi-Mother is still alive at this point in the narrative. (The Japanese equivalent to Uldanna was killed very, very early in the series, until [spoilers pre-emptively redacted].) As I said, though, I did enjoy it - enough to give it a systematic viewing from episode one onward when time permits. Thanks.

This episode had me afraid of sunset as a kid.

Definitely my 3rd favorite season too bad I grew up In the Neo Saban era

I JUST READ THE TITLE AND WAS LIKE "IM SO GLAD THAT IT JUST WASNT ME!!!!" especially the whole vampire thing, i couldnt muster the courage to see it again,

I absolutely love Mystic Force's ranger design. The capes, the visor shapes, the cell phone-esque and the morphing sequence for the core 5 were all amazing. I especially loved Xander's ranger outfit. His visor design was my favourite. What was yours?

Oh, so I wasn't alone in that regard?

The theme, the costumes, the zords and my favourite rangers, Yellow and Pink. Btw they have another episode "dedicated" when they try to unlock new powers by making "good deeds" and I think that's when they unlock the megazords. Then they started to pair the pink ranger with either red(which was weird they hinted blue and red had a thing, maybe they tried to squish a drama between sisters😂) or green (I hated Xander and it's still my least favourite ranger of these five: Green > Blue > Red > Pink > Yellow ). One thing I also wished was for the girls to have their episode(s) where they shine or get a special ability besides their zords alternative form, the boys had a second form for their wands(red - sword, green - axe pick, yellow - bow) and the boxing gloves, and green had the "mystic muscles"😂. I wished we saw more about their magic lore like who were the original mystic rangers, what was supposed to be code 5 on their Legendary form, still bugs till today, multiple zords combos.

Mf was cheesy in acting, mainly because it was mostly comedy. But I did enjoy the season. Everyone was likable and the whole magic element was definitely something new and different. As cheesy as the acting was, still one of the best power rangers.

This is one of my favourite season i recommended it if you want a darker taker and i also recommend time force it's dark

Growing up Dino thunder scared me so bad

I think that V sign that Chip thought Vida to do was more like an Anime thing, not Magiranger. Because I see stuff that are outside of Sentai and Power Rangers where people do that exact same pose as well too.

I’ve been a tokusatsu fan for years and years and years outside of my lifelong love of Power Rangers. I’ve seen all of Heisei/Reiwa Rider outside of two, Ultraman is my favorite franchise, there’s a lot of Rider and other stuff on the channel right now. Mystic Force is 100000% the Lemonade Mouth of Power Rangers

Stopped watching PR years back but Mystic Force was one of my favs along with Dino Thunder, Ninja Storm and I guess SPD as well. I can't remember but think I started to lose interest after Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury, and RPM. Watched some of Samurai, and Megaforce but those were meh.

Ugh I really gotta watch MS. I think I passed on it so many times because of old internet criticism, but I gotta try it.

The red ranger actor kept taking me out of it! If we had a better red ranger, I feel I would have loved the show a lot more.

The Green ranger initially auditioned for Red and Red for green. Richard (Green) liked Xander more and chose Green. It would be a big What IF... If He did Red and Firass did Green.

For whatever reason, the Power Rangers official KZread channel has the pitch of the first episode up like one or two notches higher than one originally aired. Other KZread channels have a completely fine. Can someone please try and explain that? I don’t really think it would be copyright, because Hasbro owns everything Power Rangers.

A possible editing/file mishap. The Power Rangers account was also previously owned by a fan so it’s possible that whatever came with that transfer had altered clips this is something that happens across different franchises (I’m well versed with the Barney the Dinosaur community and it happens from time to time there)

I consider this the saddest Power Ranger season. Why? Mahou Sentai Magiranger was bursting full of positivity Enough to remind you of Disneys magic. For when it was adapted into Power Rangers. all that positivity was drained All the magic was mysterious & edgy reminiscent of Harry Potters magic. For me I would even say the magic is Gothic... Like Batman… Disney/Magiranger magic represents Superman. Hogwarts/Mystic force magic represents Batman.

Except for the Nick, the "I don't believe in magic after seeing it myself numerous times"-guy, the character development in MF was really good, but underexplored. They could've made Xander into an actual leader of the team instead of trying to work with Nick, because of how god damn bad he is at being the Red Ranger. Honestly? If we remove Nick from the picture, then everything gets better, as Xander is like Jack from SPD - arrogant at the start, and learns to care about his team later, especially after Daggeron gets introduced. Yet, they just had to stick with Nick, because in Super Sentai the Red Ranger was their leader.

Mystic Force is good but I don’t think it’s an underrated classic. Its plot holes are just a big now as they were then plus at times it feels like the season bit off more then they could chew.
