It says the "cowardly, all liars , etc" will go the the lake of fire. Cowards are those who try to appease the world and not stand strongly rooted in him. Which god? Some religions say jesus is god, some say jesus is the son of god. Lol who's wrong? Which version of the bible are we discussing? So if god flooded the earth to remove sin...why did he command moses to commit genocide enroute to the "promised land" . The word isrealites was first used in 1200bc. WE created the word. Religion does not bring us together, it doesnt keep safe. It's the biggest cause of death since your so called world flood. It segregates peoples, it labels peoples, it hurts peoples, it kills peoples...all in the name a god. It offends so we remove it from our schools. Yet Religion has killed more people in its history then both world wars combined and we are still naive to call ourselves civilized. Dont forget the all powerful god needs your money to fix his house. He does not care about the starving, the kidnapped, the raped, the murdered.

This is the most terrifying part of the bible. I've read it over & over, never really understanding how bad it will be. I feel ashamed to have prayed for the end. Not for the end itself, but for Jesus to return. I now see what I've been asking for and waiting for. I think about myself and how I would feel. I might lash out if I was left behind and suffered all this, somehow survived it only to then be scorched by the sun. Would I cry out in a moment of anger? I pray for every soul who will have to go through this. That before they die, they do repeat. This could be any of us. We complain about small things daily. How much would be during this? Would we not at some point become angry? It's important to remember, these are fellow human beings. Fellow brothers & sister's. We are only human & we all fall short. I pray the children of the world will be spared all of this!

I heard it explained that the “oil and wine” represent the wealthy, this means when everything is so expensive, only the extremely wealthy will not be effected by this, as they can afford the inflated prices.

The oil is symbolic . We are to keep oil in our lamps until he returns. These symbolize the light that shines in you ( your spirit - fruits of the holy spirit and the wisdom of the true word). The oil that keeps these lamps going all that makes you a stronger wiser christian- Bibles, all the info you hear or read all help to keep the light shining). There will always be something available for Christians to give them strength. The wine could be symbolic as being what helps quench the person's thirst for more knowledge - similar to the oil.

The punishment is for those who chose to side with Satan. We all fall short of the expectations set before us, and are all destined for the pit, for none stained by sin can come before God. That is why He sent His Son to die for us. Before Jesus, sin could only be removed through blood sacrifice, and Jesus was the final blood sacrifice. He took on all our sins and shortcomings upon Himself, and paid the price for us. To avoid this, you need only accept him in your heart, and repent of your sins. I hope this explains it in a way that makes sense.

When you are going through tough times you seek help. Many people who have gotten to a low place in life God for the first time. It is to break or shatter the egotistical self serving people who believe they can go against God and deny Him. Those that seem will find . So I have a Hawaiian Bible and I'm not really too sure what Bible they used to translate from Hawaiian to English but my English side states "then I saw when the lamb broke one of the seven seals and I heard one of the four living creatures say "come". I looked and behold a white horse and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering to conquer. Like Jesus through his life was given the crown of all creation and through his life he conquered all nations and conquered death. But then came the war about Jesus life which is the rider in red. Then comes famine for those who follow the white rider (christ) then comes the rider in black (death comes for all Christians following the white horse) and then the sixth seal being the martyrs following the white horse. In my mind it makes sense
