Honestly this feels like the best video my team & I, have ever created after celebrating hitting 900k subscribers. When I started youtube 3 years ago, I’d never been on camera, I was so shy & nervous I didn’t think I could do it. Then I got into and remembered all I’m doing is cooking and cooking is all I know, it’s my life & my art. This video encapsulates that. The style of video is everything I ever wanted my KZread channel to be. An entertaining, humorous, cinematic, cooking video that is fit for TV. Hey Gaz, since you're doing challenges now, I would really like to see a video whereby you do different dishes using a few ingredients that one would generally purchase in one shopping haul for a week or so... it would be splendid for those of us who enjoy eating different cuisines and freshly made meals everyday using the same ingredients. 🥑🥦🥬🌶🍞🌽🍅🍄

@@gazoakleychef My father has late stage lymphomia and since all hope in medicine is lost I've started cooking for him (almost) completely plant-based for the tiny hope of extending his life a bit longer (and witness the birth of his first granddaughter). Till now I've only used your recipes (except for the wicked healthy king oyster BBQ strips) and carefully selected the one I think he would like best. He really loved and dug in into the meal prep chili with sour cream, I also added the avocado. I was disappointed he thought the one-pot-pasta was too sour (though me and my mom loved it). Every day is a battle but your recipes really, really help me!

The way that you always handle produce with so much respect, even as you were cutting the mushrooms before plating, shows how much you love what you do. I’ve been subscribed for a while now. This channel has some of the most authentic content on KZread hands down. You and your team are next level. There are soo many places that I want to travel to, but your future restaurant is undoubtedly at the top of my list. Y’all inspire me. I’ve been eating plant based for a few years now. Did you know that most of the spring onions Tesco's sell here in the UK are grown in California and the elephant variety too?
The sign of a good cook is that he can make good food that may have been done before, but a great one can create new because he/she knows how to treat ingredients. Hat's off for Gaz!

It’s funny this is the first time I recognize an ingredient you’re showing and you have never seen it lol funny to me that they had never seen the chayotes, it’s one of the main ingredients in the traditional cooking from where I am from, Oaxaca Mexico. Depending on the region you’re from, there are those that cover it with fresh ground coffee beans(there are coffee farmers) and then those that boil it and peel it and drizzle it with fresh honey. And there are those that add this into “caldos” which is like chicken stew or beef stews. It is very versatile 🙂🙂 great job! I’m excited I want to try to do this, I watch your recipes and there are so many ingredients I’ve never seen and don’t know where to get it etc etc but I just love this channel! I hope one day I can taste your food!!
