I love Jacob doing awkward things time... it's seriously like my favorite thing ever.
Legend has it Jacob is still swinging on Mystery Hill to this day…
Beautiful time with your grandfather, Jacob. Always hold on to your memories.
Happy Friday Everyone 😬💯🤘🏻🇺🇸
Spooky Spigot facts: it's been there for over forty years. In the same place, doing it's spooky thing. I remember seeing it with my Mother when I was a child. It was still held up by the copper wires, and I believe it "emptied" into a wooden barrel. The little pond and rubber reptiles are more recent additions, I assume. We saw the entire place, I do have vague memories of that, but what stuck with me all these years was that damn spigot, and suddenly there it was, in all it's glorious spookism. Thanks for the entertainment, and thanks for reminding me, if only for a moment, of a much better time in my life. Spooky Spigot forever!
Jacob how wonderful to have such great memories of your time with your Grandfather, your arrowhead is not lost it is somewhere I hope you find it. You did pretty good with the bull riding Take care 🦋
Great meeting you yesterday! Thanks for coming!

You are so lucky to have met the carpetbagger!!!😮
Don't forget, Jen will be joining you and her stuff .I watch her and she seems to be quite a collector, after all she got you . Good video.
It's not the same type of attraction, but we have a "Mystery Hill" up here in New England, as well. It's also billed as "America's Stonehenge," and if you're ever up this way It's worth a stop just for its contentious history.
I am kicking myself so much right now. I almost went to Dead People Stuff yesterday, I live 20 minutes from it and I've always hoped one day I could run into you somewhere around here since you live not far from here and yesterday could have been the day 😭 I ended up not going and went to work on my costume instead at a local haunt that I would LOVE for you to come visit, I know you'd love it.

What haunt? I used to work in Hickory and saw the sign for Dead People's Stuff all the time but never went.
Hi Jacob 👋 hope everything goes well with moving, its going to be a new chapter for you and Jenny Penny 😊. Thanks for sharing this video today on the mystery hill. Stay safe and take care 🙏🤓
What a fun video. You riding the bull was hysterical! I really loved hearing about you and your Grandpa searching and finding arrowheads and eventually realizing arrowheads weren't that rare to find. Overall a fun watch. 😅
Great story about you & grandfather. What a great memory to have.
It it so awesome that the carpetbagger and Adam the woo have been to my neck of the woods!!!
I so enjoyed this show today! Grandpa's story was heartfelt❤ Then you being Matrix and then a Cowboy😂 Laughed and smiled all the way through Thank You
I love Mystery Hill! Come see me at Great Southern Gothic about 40 more minutes from there. The "Good old Fashioned Hospitality Treatment" applies at my place too. 😂

I’d love to check it out sometime
I love that tour guide guy. He is awesome, give him a raise ❤
These type of places are amazing. Yes it is a tourist trap but our family loves this place. Just like you 2-3 hour drive each way is no big deal.
Man I remember when I was little I went to an aquarium that had a bull riding thing, there was a big group of teens/young adults on it and I was having the time of my life watching them. In the middle of it thought the buildings power went out and we were all locked inside since there was a massive flash flood outside, parking lot was flooded. Still a fun time though, really wish I could remember where that was
I always think of Mystery Hill as my first roadside attraction, interesting to see that it hasn’t changed nearly at all in the past 20 years. Never knew that the arrowhead collection was 2nd biggest to Smithsonian. I remember when the tours weren’t guided, but at least they still let you have your personal time away from the guide. Something always kept me coming back here as a kid.
"The three little kittens, they lost their mittens, And they began to cry, "Oh, mother dear, we sadly fear, That we have lost our mittens."".... I loved that story when I was a little girl. 🥰😺🥰.......... Nice video, Jacob. ☺
I'm excited to see how the house decorating is going to turn out 😊
Wonderful story about your Grandfather, JtC! Regarding that bull riding challenge, I probably would have barfed.
Too funny. I was just there this past Saturday. 😊 Love 'Dead People’s Stuff' great store. Interesting fact, Dead People’s Stuff was a morgue at one time.
Owning a home is a great investment. It will be awesome!!
The old miner in the outhouse😂IDK that I want to sit in there with him and his "mysteries"😮
I don't know what it is but I love the purple plant/bush on top of the witch's keyhole. Beautiful 💜

I'm Dizzy just watching this 🤯🤣 Thanx for Taking Us Along Jacob🌞 Great Content 🌞✌👍
The vortex house feels like when you’re drunk
Glad to see you visiting Lenoir NC. I'm actually in the parking lot of the church you visited where as we call it the key hole house stood writing this comment on my way home from work because it is less than three minutes from my house in the same neighborhood.
Fascinating fun & interesting! Enjoyed hearing about the Witches Keyhole.
Reminds me of the Mystery Spot in California. Fun attractions for sure.
You did very commendable time on the bull. Congrats.
Hi Jacob in Lewisberry Pa there is a Gravity Hill if you put your car in neutral you car will roll backwards up. It's really interesting.
Good Evening to you Jacob 🙋🏽
Just what I needed today. 33 seconds of bull! 🫢
I've been to the Oregon Vortex and the SC Mystery Spot, these attractions are fun.
Awsome Jacob of filming for Mysery Hill , Bull Riding ,Witch´s keyhole and 38:25😍🦉 lovely ,personally i collect owls .
I can't believe I missed him I live here.
When i was still a child me & my grandma always wanted to go to Mystery Hill but we never got to because she unfortunately passed away in my teen years but i'd like to go with my dad & mom & brother someday
This was awesome Jacob
The World's Mystery Spots are the perfect environments for The Carpetbagger.
Asking myself why I'm watching a grown man walk into a magnetic vortex suspected to be put there by aliens 🤔 however it's quite interesting which is why people like Ripley's 😂 ohhh the Martian Boogie by Brownsville Station .... That's the reference 😁
When I was 15, my uncle killed himself. I couldn't bear going to the funeral, so to try and make me feel better and help make the day easier, my dad and step mom took me here (we live about 1-1/2 away). We also went to Grandfather Mount and crossed the mile high bridge. It definitely helped me forget for just a little while and they made sure to make my day as special and fun as they possibly could. I'll never forget that. This place is very special to me, and I can't wait to take my kids this Summer! I hope I can make their day at least half as fun as it was for me. Thank you for sharing!!!!!!
Impressive place Mystery Hill!
The bull riding scene LMAO LMAO🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Very cool Dead People's Stuff Antiques and Emporium!!! I would have bought quite a few things, like the tombstone, Florida citrus, n Conestoga Wagon Salt n Peppers n the view masters, which are iconic!!!
I enjoyed hearing you tell about your memories about your grandpa and the arrowhead on his farm. Fun video!
Don't let anyone smash your tattoo with that sledgehammer. 😂
It’s been a really long time since I’ve been to the one in the dells- but if I remember correctly- movement of any kind exerts yourself? You riding the Bull brought back some bar night memories and also made my day.. the difference between the first and second time getting on 🤣🤣🤣 you’re such a breath of fresh air
LOL. It was funny watching you walk in that room..
Thank you for sharing this it was awesome. You have a God blessed weekend Jacob and everyone. ❤️☮️
Happy Friday!
We go to blowing rock every spring because of the pretty views there are and we have a picnic
The host/guide is doing a wonderfull job! 😂
Mystery Spot in Michigan!
There used to be an attraction like this at Knott's Berry Farm called The Haunted Shack.
I need that owl lamp
I hope you have a good day with your family.
It's like an arrowhead quilt!! It's fabulous how there are so many different sizes n shapes n materials the arrowheads are made of, then arranged in patterns like an old fashioned quilt pattern within the framed squarest n rectangles, then those are arranged next to each other on different coloured boards to create that " Quilted Effect""" my Grandmother Locher used to actually make from scratch quilts using saved scraps of different patterns, sizes, n coloured material n incorporated into an old fashioned quilt pattern., Of which there are many registered patterns throughout the centuries in Early Americana collections!!! Wonderfully fascinating to me!!! Loved 😍 Mystery Hill as well!!! The guide was extremely entertaining!!!! So were you as you demonstrated the various effects of the gravity n magnet vortex!!! Attaboy, Carpetbagger!!!
Great video! My mother in law was born up in the those Appalachian mountains in Kentucky. Her home had a dirt floor and her mom would sweep the floor every day with different designs. He mom also liked her snuff. Her pops was a preacher and a moonshine because preaching did not pay all the bills so he did the moon shining as a way to pay the bills. My hubby told me everytime they went back to Kentucky she would always know if there was a still close because she could smell that mash. Then there is a place up by KC it is on a dirt road and locals call it gravity road you put your car in neutral and your car literally rolls up the hill. I did not believe at first but I was there I believe. If you would like I can try to ask some of my college friends where thar was at and send it to ya. Those places are amazing and fun. So did you go back in to thT store and purchase it???
That's the second funniest thing I seen you do.
That defies all logic of understanding and science. 😂 P.S. As for 🐂 bull riding ,I'd say stick to your day job!
I definitely loved this video mostly because I've been to mystery hill when I was in north Carolina visiting family my grandfather was from Lanior I remember visiting these places as a kid was fun
We had a Mystery Hill near Marblehead, Ohio-we would stop there on our annual vacation that included Cedar Point-do any other viewers remember that place?
Omg that is so funny !! Entertaining for sure the fun of the video
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the awesome work
Sir isac Newton looked like gene wilder 😳
Great video.
I live in NC. I love Blowing Rock!! Mystery Hill is always fun.
Mr Zoltar my wish is to be small again opposite of the movie BIG. So I unplugged it beat the crap out of it to turn on like in the movie, only to find myself arrested. People Don't do that. LOL no I never did that. Some say the spirits need to be invited in, I myself don't know if that is true.
What a great video!
in order to make rabbits trust you, you must get a carrot of some sort, give it to one of them and they can eat it.

Cool thanks for sharing this today 😊🤠🙂
You need the pike!
We used to ride the mechanical bulls in the country bars in Michigan in the 1980's,n we had to sign a waiver in case of injury n pay $2 a ride. It became popular after the movie the Urban Cowboy came out in the late 1970's or early 1980's, starring John Travolta n Debra Winger n myriad country n western stars showcased at Mickey Gilleys bar in Texas. It is a classic n you should watch it sometime, especially since you had the courage to ride!!! Attaboy Plus One, Carpetbagger!!!
Great video😊😊😊
Nice we get a video from NC keep it up
Reminds me of trying to walk at Parrot Mountain 😅
You make great videos
This was a wonderful vid! Thanks Jacob! I was wondering, since your in NC, if you could visit The Transportation Museum in Spencer, it's near Charlotte. You'll love it! Thanks!❤
You missing quilt week in Paducah. Make sure your floor joists are not rioting away to your house. We are having major floor joists problems over here, not witches trying to escape from house.
JACOB THATS A COOL THUMBNAIL ✨🌟

Urban Cowboy 🤠 lol
I wish this one had closed captions. I couldn’t understand the tour guide.
Awww, I was hoping for a "king of bull! " reference in the sign off. Shucky darns 😔
Love the Live Eagles in the background.
ALL HAIL KING OF BULLS
You should go to mammoth cave in Kentucky. Great place and on the way there in Cave City is another place of gravity like in this video but not as nice looking as this place.
I think you have to welcome a spirit into your home. Spirits don't have the ability to break in (theory)
I think it is because spirits need to be invited into your home.
Can you explain how these work? What's the trick or is it a trick?these always confused my tiny brain 😂. Is it just the way the building is built in a way it creates this illusion? All the other crap like the water spout I get it's the house that is confusing
Jacob, if you’re ever in Texas I’d like to take you arrowhead hunting.
It looks like a rooster.
Key hole. Exit only sign
Enjoyed channel 👍🏼 👌 😀
Piccolo’s pizza in downtown Lenoir is worth a stop. The owner’s have two locations, Lenoir and Chicago, so their deep dish is legit.
They should have instructed you that you were not sitting up far enuf on the back of the bull!!! This is a mellow bull compared to the ones we had in the country bars in Michigan, it actually swiveled n spun n bucked, n you held one arm up like bull riders in the rodeo for balance n held in with the other hand and your thighs!!! I was actually very good at it, but I spent a lot of $2 fees every night in the bar, n signed a lot of injury waivers to get that way!! For no instruction you did a good job just staying on!!!
Hi Jacob good effort on the bull it is really hard to stay on..Great places as usual you do not let us down.. Love these antique places it does kind of creep me out as well.. However as a history lover The circle of life is all part of the journey All the best Marie XX
