    I just did this and showed it to my wife. Her reactions went from "Oh cool, you made a braid." "Wait, it's all one piece..." "HOW DID YOU DO THIS WITCH CRAFT!!!!!!"

    Going to do this with some old leather I have lying around made a set of moccasins out of it but it's too thin but they worked well enough

    this is a great project for any beginner leatherworking who wants to earn a few bucks on the side to fund his leather crafting. Quick, simple and cheap.

    My first leatherworking project ever were 4 mystery braid bracelets. Not having any dyes or hardware yet, I colored some by using baking soda and developed a closure somewhat similar to yours. 2 years later and I'm still using the one I kept for myself on a daily basis! 😁

    It could be used as straps to hold armor together, or even make a belt like that with frill at the end. Oh the ideas!
