Mysterious Blockage Cleared - Gushing Sewage Drain Unblocking

Ойын-сауық

We were called out to a client suffering 2 blocked toilets and once lifting the manhole, the inlet from the soil pipe was found to be blocked. It was obstructed with what looks to be a broken clay pipe. What seems to initially be a quick fix, the problem doesn't go away and the client needs a CCTV camera inspection to make sure that nothing is broken.

    That white porcelain was probably from an old toilet base. When that mucky water kept running, something released for sure. Stack pipe may have been backed up and full. Not sure why you didn't jet it till it ran clear. And the other two pipes as well.

  • @Silkybrennan
    @Silkybrennan3 жыл бұрын

    Couldn't help but wonder that the 2 halves were from an old join now exposing soil. The better sat for a while in 1 spot and the water was black possibly creating a sinkhole. Toilet roll afterwards could be getting stuck in the newly created hole which only those buckets of water were bringing out like a washing cycle forcing it out....

    I'm just curious as to why you guys always fill up buckets, and use the jet as little as possible? Is water expensive or rare over there? I've watched 1000s of these videos and most generally the jet is the go-to tool of choice, yet you guys try to avoid using it only as a last resort, I'm just curious as to why. Jetting would finish alot of these jobs much faster and much much much better. There must be a water shortage or something there, or water is expensive or something, I just can't figure it out. Drain Addict is where I started watching these videos, water must be cheaper in AU than in EU I dunno.
