Can you share the MySQL installation path from your system

Mine still doesnt work :/ It says "ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)" even though i typed in the new password correctly

You need to open the cmd with run as administrator

"C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\bin\Mysqld" MySQL (My path to executable is showing only this portion ......)

dont worked in my mysql8.0 too.. :(

C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\bin>mysqld--defaults-file="C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\my.ini" --init-file=C:\ eset.txt 'mysqld--defaults-file' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Could you pls help...thx in advance

there is a space between mysqld and --defaults, Just go through the description and perform the task accordingly.
