Story behind the dance:
This dance piece combines elements of kaparima/aparima, infused with both Tahitian and Cook Islands motions. While the dance group primarily embraces Tahitian traditions, this choreography has been crafted as a tribute to their leader, who hails from the Cook Islands. To honour their background, the essence of both cultures has been incorporated into the movements, creating a unique and meaningful fusion.

I was having the same delema, I'm Cook Island and Tahitian decent and the slow love song dancers are very similar. Usually comes down to the head dress or flowers and certain movements. Love Love this song and the movements
