She changed music for me. She's incredible. She also had a very difficult childhood. She was severely abused and abandoned at a Russian bus stop in the winter at the age of three. She was found with a broken collarbone and taken to an orphanage. She was later adopted by a caring family, but the pain and the haunted voice that comes through today is incomparable. I could go on forever about what her voice is capable of, but it’s best to dive into to her other songs and see for yourself. The only thing better than her voice is her character. She’s the best.

I do appreciate your comment Mr. Zac I don’t know whether anybody else feels the impact of her voice in this song as I felt 3 months back and it’s change my life… m a guy from Pakistan a married man and I’ve got 2 boys. Couple of years back I’ve got separated from my wife because she don’t want to live with me anymore, That’s my love marriage after 10 years of love affair I got married with her, my children are with her , I’ve just ruined tried twice suicide but I couldn’t just to sake of my boys, m following prayers keep praying in what curse that m in … and suddenly she(Diana) came up .. I’m very found of music though.. I’ve listen her last dance then I heard this song which changed me a lot … I don’t know how and why but… it happened!!!! Her voice feels from inside of my stomach travelling to my heart then head and I possessed.

Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in seven billion.

Diana Ankudinova is the most insanely talented vocalist I have ever heard (Dimash actually recommended her some time ago). She's a polyphonic contralto. я не знаю как димаш относится к диане , по одним отзывам не хочет с ней общаться , в вашем ответе отозвался хорошо , конечно они абсолютно разные исполнители , у димаша опыта по возрасту гораздо больше , но талантливы оба . Но без талантливого композитора им вместе не спеть , нужна гармония сильных сторон каждого , а не одного , в этом и проблема , может потому и не хотят общаться

В любом случае даже если они и общаются - мы об этом не узнаем, ибо это личное, а со стороны публичности это будет конфликт интересов.

@@user-hz1mx8ly2i Они не "не хотят общаться". Для начала у них ещё и шанса встретиться не было. Но я думаю оба прекрасно знают что много людей хотят их дуэт. Что думает на этот счёт Димаш, я не слышала, а Диана в одном видео сказала, что это невозможно, потому что у них совершенно разные голоса и разные направления в музыке. Но я думаю тут большее значение имеет то, что , чтобы написать такую песню и музыку для такого дуэта, нужен уникальный композитор, сам с необычайным талантом.

I call this 'a musical art piece' due to the minor key and emphasis on only a few significant lines. A masterpiece! She's 18 in this performance. She's a rare dramatic contralto with polyphonic capability. She's been training since about age 5 and developed her higher range.

Sometimes special people are given to the world. Diana and Dimash are definitely one of them. To me, Diana is the earth and Dimash is the sky. Both absolutely unique and magnificent and incredibly beautifying the world. Glad you found both.

📌Welcome! Who is Diana Ankudinova? (Pronounced: Dee-ah-nah Ahn-kuh-dee-no-vah) Diana, Singer and Songwriter in Russia was born in May, 31. 2003 in the Far East of Russia. (www says she is between 1.66 -1.70m/ 5.5 - 5.7 ft tall.) She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman who gave birth to her had many pregnancies, only Diana survived... and she did not love her child, cruelly abused it and tried to drown it. The 3 year old child was found at a bus stop with a broken collarbone and taken to an orphanage. There she finally found love ... from Irina Ponik, a massagetherapist. Taking a young child into the family was not easy for Irina. Her son was already 20 years old, daughter Nastya 17 years... Now start all over again? Yes!!! Diana came to a poor but loving family when she was 5 years old. Diana spoke badly, cried a lot and was still very scared but she all sing songs from cartoons. The doctor recommended singing lessons and so, the singing teacher Elena Kazantseva discovered Diana's talent. And all started... During 2008 to 2012 Diana sang around 40 songs, including at competitions. Her mother, Irina Ponik, turned her whole life inside out and started all over with a new motherhood and many new professions - seamstress, manager, vblogger… admirable. Everything that has to do with Diana's singing training, performances, competitions, looking for sponsors is organized and coordinated by her mother Irina Ponik. She took extra sewing courses too. Since then, she's been sewing all of Diana's stage costumes, because all of these things consume the family budget. She accompanies her daughter on trips and captures her life in photos and videos with the persistence of a visionary. It is admirable how she promotes her daughter's career, teaching her how to fly but makes sure that she is down to earth Remains. Diana impressed with her talent in over 50 national and international competitions. She was 18 here, you should check her out doing Rechenka at 14. This was a contest, and all of the judges are famous singers. She is a polyphonic dramatic contralto, the lowest and darkest female voice. She only showed part of it here, but she has tremendous range and control. The judge standing on the top row with the beard and tears in his eyes is Yusif Eyvazov who is married to Anna Netrebko, both well-known and respected opera singers. What does it say about her performance if she could move him to tears?

Great reaction. Diana brings the voice and emotion to every performance. Look for "Ornery Horses" for emotional presence from a young performer and then "Havana" for her just having fun.

СКОРЕЕ всего до меня уже ответили , но не могу не ответить :) . Во-первых в момент исполнения ей было 18 , потом , водка в России не особо любимый напиток , чай популярнее (кроме самой воды )Ну и в остальном по-честному , такую минорную версию кавера придумали не создатели этого шоу , к стыду моему я забыл , но это кажется был итальянский композитор ,я слышал этот кавер в исполнении другой певицы , первая часть была схожа с исполнением Дианы , но вторую мощную часть Диана исполнила своим собственным голосом без электронной поддержки как в первоисточнике , где мощь была в инструментале , а не в голосовых связках , думаю первый минорный кавер в пределах интернета найти просто и спасибо его создателю, сильная вещь , и Диана с ее полифоническим голосом лишь улучшила кавер . Просто минорное исполнение идеально подходило под ее вокальные возможности , оригинал не пострадал , лишь заиграл в новых оттенках звучания. А вообще , Диана - универсальный исполнитель , хоть и говорят что ее сильная сторона - драматическое исполнение , но она легко поет и в других жанрах , есть джаз , рок , лирика , фольк , йодль ,причем сама она предпочитает более легкий жанр , так как сама сознается что драматические песни ей тяжело даются , так как она вживается в исполнение , не может петь по другому

Ric D, welcome to the extraordinary voice of Diana Ankudinova! For those in your audience that don’t know, Diana Ankudinova was only 18 years old when this performance took place during the 2021 season of a Russian vocal competition called the "ShowMaskGoOn!". Diana’s cover of this Elvis Presley classic "Can't Help Falling In Love", shows Diana Ankudinova has what many vocal professionals believe is a true contralto sound, and for those that don’t know female voice types, a contralto is the lowest type of female voice, and a true contralto voice type is very, very rare. First, let me answer a very common question asked about Diana's vocal range which helps define a female singer's voice type. At 14 in 2017, her vocal range was measured from a low of D3 to a high of A5. As of September 2021, 4 years later at age 18, her lower functional range was measured from a C3 to her upper range measured at B♭5. But, it's not just how low she can go, it's the exceptional quality of her tone in her lower range. It's all about the roundness, the fullness, and the depth of her sound, along with her ability to create and access an enormous amount of resonance that further defines Diana as a "dramatic contralto", which is the rarest of the rare contralto voice types. How does Diana Ankudinova do it? How can such a young female singer reach such a low, rich, deep, and profound sound? Without a professional actually scoping her vocal tract, the general conciseness of many vocal professionals attributes Diana’s sound to her winning the genetic lottery, and just being born with unique vocal anatomy. Diana’s vocal folds appear to be longer and thicker than most female singers. Also, her larynx appears to be larger than most female singers along with a vocal track that similarly appears to be longer than most other female singers. It’s this unique vocal anatomy that gives Diana Ankudinova the ability to produce these low, deep, rich, and full sounds, but without actually scoping Diana’s vocal track there is no way to be 100% sure. To really appreciate the vocal progression of Diana's contralto sound, listen to "Rechenka", a Russian folk song sung in Russian for a vocal competition held for disadvantaged teens called "You Are Super!" during their 2018 Season when Diana was only 14 years old. Next listen to her cover of Chris Izaak's, "Wicked Game" the following year when she was only 15 years old during the 2019 Season of "You Are Super!". Now again listen to "Can't Help Falling In Love". Also, Diana Ankudinova won both the 2018 and 2019 seasons of “You Are Super”. One of the most amazing things is that Diana is also a true polyphonic singer which is an extraordinarily rare accomplishment for someone so young. A singer who has mastered the polyphonic vocal technique can create up to two, and sometimes three different tones at the same time which adds to the harmonic overtones and undertones that can make it sound like more than one voice singing. This polyphonic ability is why some people mistakenly believe Diana Ankudinova is using auto-tune, a voice synthesizer, pitch correction software, or some other artificial form of electronic voice manipulation to alter or adjust her sound. Others think another person is singing in the background, or she is lip-syncing over a previously recorded vocal track. There is no artificial manipulation of Diana's voice of any kind going on at all. The “ShowMaskGoOn” is a very competitive vocal competition and Diana Ankudinova is required to use only the equipment provided to her as all other competitors are required to do. There was no opportunity for her or any other competitor to use electronic vocal manipulating equipment. What you are hearing is all Diana Ankudinova. Female singers usually don't reach their full vocal maturity until somewhere around 24 to 28 years of age although some reach it a little sooner, and others, a little later. Diana Ankudinova’s vocals are already developing well ahead of schedule in reaching her vocal maturity. I look forward to what Diana will sound like when she does reach full vocal maturity. When she does she will have had many more years of voice training with her voice teacher in addition to more years honing her on-stage live performance skills. When that day comes, there will be no doubt that Diana Ankudinova will be a vocal force to be reckoned with and a wonder to behold performing on stage. Diana took part in the “ ShowMaskGoOn on” vocal competition in September of 2021 where she performed her cover of “Can’t Help Falling In Love”. The judges were a panel of nine professional singers that compete against each other and also award judging points to each other. When Diana is not competing she is a member of this judging panel. During Diana’s performance, the judge on the top row that stands up first is the famous Russian tenor, Yusif Eyvazov from Azerbaijan who is married to the world-famous soprano Anna Netrebko. The blond woman also standing that’s dressed in red and looks totally shocked at the end of Diana's performance, then puts both hands on top of her head with a look of total bewilderment and disbelief is Julia Parshuta, also a well-known contemporary Russian singer. Julia Parshuta knows at some point, she has to compete against Diana Ankudinova, a true, once-in-a-generation talent. And finally, Diana was awarded the most points, winning the "ShowMaskGoOn" competition.

Diana's voice is dramatic contralto, currently (just?) 4 octaves range. Most of western controlled mass-media TV, radio and press "filters" music & text content so that western community couldn't know about her amazing talent (thanks to YT btw). Try Human, Wicked game, Rechenka and Crow(my favorite).

I don't know about that, I heard good vibes on the radio a few days ago, so some people do know her and try to give her airtime. I think it's more the international situation and the people that engineer war trying to seperate peoples to do it. It's not just her, we don't hear much of Dimash either. We don't fight if we listen to the same songs... Even in Russia it's complicated for her, she seems to want to maintain artistic freedom so it will take a while for her to filter out the wrong people. It's easier to be famous if the middleman gets most of the profit. As long as she has the internet she'll make it through, the people of the world will have her back on this.

I LOVE first-time exposures to Diana's voice- what you hear is not anywhere in the universe of what you think you will hear. She is one of the youngest contralto voices ever, with immense talent after a terribly difficult early childhood.
