Wow, thanks for that inspiring approach! gives me more perspective what's possible with this highly underrated app in terms of pkm. I try to figure out, how to use it also for some fiction writing.

I used to Notion but it got to where I was focused more on managing the system that actually taking notes. I wanted to constantly tweak the sytem because I could haha

Hi Greg, I have tinkered with Mymind and Zettelkasten separately in the past but had never seen them as a partnership. Thank you for the introduction and the spark! I can't wait to dive in and create my own spaces! One question, are you using the full subscription of MyMind here or 'student of life's. Is it possible to do everything you do here in this video with the lesser package?

Hey! So glad to hear it was helpful. Most of the stuff I mentioned in here (searching, creating spaces, tags) can be done on the student plan. The main difference is the reading mode on the mastermind plan. You can read the articles in mymind in a focused mode. Not a deal breaker when it comes to creating a Zettelkasten with mymind in my opinion. Let me know if you discover some cool note-taking insights on your journey!

Do you use both mymind and craft docs? If yes, how do you use them together and what do you use them for? 🤔

I do use them both together. Currently I'm working through it but I see mymind as my digital "field notes" book. Easy to capture and jot down ideas. I can then move things over to Craft where to be fleshed out and polished. Craft is definitely better for any longer form writing. Hope that helps!

@@annepollak_education Heptabase isn’t fully integrated in my system. I’ve just used it here and there mainly for the whiteboard feature. And yes, I can do a video soon!

Is mymind a replacement for mem or do you still use both?

@@annepollak_education I don’t think it would be a replacement. I see mem like I do Craft. But I currently don’t fully use mem. It’s an app I’m keeping my eye on though. It just isn’t quite there on the mobile side for me.
